Hi
from my perspective,
it won't get any better, if you think it's getting worse
sure, there is plenty of info and knowledge for up and coming entrants
though many of them want to be spoon fed, rather than feeding themselves
but for those who've been around for years, there's not much meat to chew on
I see too much rehash of same hash or highlights of fluff with no substance
so, best thing they can do is contribute to some conversations, maybe offer some advice
and...
since majority of offers will be the lowest of the low, and most submissions will be the crappiest of the crap
then they don't have a lot of enthusiasm for posting names for sale or even posting in domains wanted sections.
for us/them...the good old days are gone and won't ever come back.
for newbies, these are the good times
almost every name they get, they think it's premium or gold, or will label it as such.
to them, outspam has no bounderies or restrictions, it's a free for all, monkey see, monkey do trend,
one that's gotten out of hand, but still being passed around like candy.
they think brokers are waiting and willing to help sell their just regged names
and end-users are eager to receive their solicitation emails.
times have surely changed and they will never be the same
but I guess it's just an evolution of the domain buying and selling game
imo....
