Nice question & answer is i have recovered all my money which i invested and whatever i have in my portfolio is my profit
So for the moment you brake even and probably you will make a nice chunk of cash profit, but that will depend only on your future acquisitions, so hopefully you will keep this line. Curiously, most of your acquisitions reported were between 2xx and 2xxx, so the average should have been around 1k, if my math is right, so that will mean 300k sales. How long it took to recover your investment?

i am in domaining since 1 year 4 months total but actually i fully involved in domaining since 8-9 months..
average 1k buying is actually wrong as i said whatever i invested i got back but reinvested in name and still reinvesting... if my all names acquisition would be 1000 each i would be 6 feet under..
my total purchasing amount of available portfolio is approx 80-90 k usd till now

and it sold....quick.....less than 2 months for $7,799

How did you get a name listed as premium and for a price of $7,779?

Every time I try to list a name as premium and over 2k or so, it is rejected.

I have never seen a name that wasn't ultra premium listed for so much at SH.

You must be very lucky.

Show attachment 123398 Had handregged this name in 2017jan then one renewal, it was accepted for 995 at bb because of low price i didnt list there and expectedly this year renewal was due and i decided to sell this name for $5 as bb accepted/published in reseller nobody bought and i dropped this name, cut to march while randomly browsing expired names i happen to see this name again, something made me believe that it is not so bad and worth to try again and i re regged this at namesilo.com for $6 and listed at bb for 995 and i received sold email for this recently. Heavy fees of bb but overall i am not complaining for this one.

May i know how many domains you have listed with BB?

L/c/j/y // net
Sales price: $88
Sales Venue: afternic.com
Registrar: namebright.com
Hold time: 9 months
Purchased Price : $10

Did you recently reduce the price or it was 88 from the beginning?

If the latter, what was the point? You would need to have 11% sell through rate just to break even.

I did a research whether 4L.net could still sell quickly at a low price.

Well, for proper research you would need at least tens, if not hundreds of those. Did you have enough? How did it go?

@Nikul Sanghvi , very interesting that your BINS seem to be yielding higher prices.

Has always been that way for me. I have almost everything priced with BIN, but also have MakeOffer enabled.

When things are quieter, I'm less aggressive on price for inbound offers. I'll aim to find a price that works for me and the buyer... which normally ends up somewhere between 40% to 70% of the listed BIN price.

It's bad for yield but good for cash flow.

Quiet is an under statement lol. 16 months in and never had a sale. Let 160 drop so far. No point in renewing when no cash is coming in.

I am just wondering , why the previous owner didn't receive those offers ?
Time and circumstances. Has nothing to do with landing page.

Domain name: nwlv dot com
Sales Venue: Namejet Auction
Sales prices: $122
Purchase venue: Namepros
Purchase Price: $135

Was very surprised the closing price ended below my cost price because about 30 persons indicated interest in bidding for the domain.

It appears the number of people that indicates interest in an auction may not determine it's closing price.
You are new to Namejet :xf.grin:
That's where people go to whenever they wanna lose valuable domain names. If you drop any good name at Namejet without reserve, be sure to lose it at low bid. I learnt my lessons after loosing two good names. Those names are sitting somewhere now for sale.
