In this thread, I will give you my opinion about your submitted new gTLD domain name.

I will focus not only on its numerical appraisal, but also will take other factors into consideration (mainly renewal fee and what you do with the name, where it is presented, etc), to debate whether it is a good investment choice (in my opinion). Just because I am a new gTLD investor it does not mean that I will give good opinion on crappy names - so I will tell you when I see no value or potential. To see examples of new gTLD domain names I personally invest in, you can check my website www.brands.international.

Rules:
1. Only 1 new gTLD domain name can be submitted daily per 1 Namepros user.
2. This thread is related to new gTLD domain names only - I can not give you my opinion about .com, .net, org or ccTLD names like .de or .co.uk names, as I do not have enough direct experience with them.
3. I am not responsible for any damages related to my advice - it is only my personal opinion, although I will really try my best to give reasonable, and well-balanced opinion.
4. You can submit only domain name you personally own.
5. For security and privacy purposes, all names submitted and discussed in replies must be in
keyword(s) / gTLD extension format (for example royal / estate, or bestgames / online)
6. Comments/opinions/appraisals from other members on any name submitted here are very welcome :)

@tracey sclater about your domain name find / express:

When I think about .express, first thing which comes to my mind is some kind of express delivery, and then also things conntected to trains / express. With some keywords it can venture also to news area, something like daily / express.

Now, your name with keyword 'find" can be used by end user either for finding express trains (maybe some luxury trains like Orient Express), or to find some express delivery services, for pizza, food, etc. So it is very broad, but for my taste, it is too broad (like it is not immediately clear from the name what exactly you should or will find). But end user might have different taste. Still, I feel this is somewhere between 1k-4k, if someone likes it, but wil pretty low probability of sale for any given year.

Because it is too broad with this keyword, it is pretty difficult to do outbound with its as well.

Now, I like .express a lot, and I have small set of product domain names in my porftolio for this extension, and I really love those domains. I think it is very good alternative (for some keywords) for .shop or .store or .delivery. But keywords should be product-like oriented, like "pizza" or "food", something like that - for such keywords, you can do much easier outbound for potential end user.

I personally thing find / express is a borderline investment, as it can achieve price as I indicated above, or even much more if someone particularly likes it, but without you doing outbound for it, chances are pretty small for that in 2019.

The last remark is the presentation of your name : it is just parked at the registrar where you registered it, no option to buy the name conveniently for the end user. I would suggest you might try to go to undeveloped.com, create free account there, and in few minutes you can have great landing page, no technical skills needed. Look for example how nice (my domain name) candy / express is presented there - do it also for all you domain names, this will greatly accelerate your chances to sell. Just imo.

sleeveless / top
@FavourB I like your domain name sleeveless / top as an playful new gTLD domain name. I would not have great expectation as for an easy sell, though .. it is too narrow (imo) for most of end users (cloth stores), although there are some stores who might focus on sleeveless tops (it is an actual search term in google as I have just learned). That it is the actual thing what people are searching for is a definite plus for your domain name.

Another great plus is that your domain name is so unique (strong semantic connection between right and left) that I can not thing of any close alternatative to it in new gTLD space. This is always great advantage.

I somehow just do not feel the keyword, personally. But if presented to right end user, I would not be surprised if it could sell for 500 - 3k.

In addition, If you can analyze it's ranking properties as for this specific category of clothes, and present your findings properly to end users (can the domain name be developed as a minisite, and used for some kind of redirects, or does it have maybe good organic traffic, which can be directed to ......., for example?), then maybe even more. That depends on you and your knowledge, entirely.

Outbound is needed imo here, as with passive holdind, this can take very very long time to sell.

@lucasprad about your name dietpills / store - so first think which I literally see after I get string "dietpills" into uniregistry.com search field, is that you can reg this string for reg fee in .market.

In addition, there are dozens of good alternatives in new gTLD space for less the USD 10, with slighly, altered semantic meanings.

There is nothing more to say about investment value of that domain name from this perspective. imo.

Good thing: in .shop, this string is 600/year, which can be used in negotiations. But that alone is not enough, imo.

At the moment of writing there are so many exciting new gTLD names which are dropping every single day.....so why to reg some word1word2 string with dozens of close alternatives which are available for reg fee? If you want to develop it, great, but for resell purposes, no so much.

Btw, it can be sold for few thousands dollars in 2019 imo, maybe 1k-2,5k, but only in case the end users would not be somehow aware of all other options they have....that is never good situation for seller.

meals / today
@leadnetwork about your domain name meals / today:

I just love this type of domain names - your name have low standard renewal for .today, which is around 15 at many registrars.

As for resale value, I feel it deserves something like 5k-10k, maybe 15k in 2019.

It is an amazing domain name, can form very nice brand, which will not be geo limited. And easy to hold longterm, with good potential for great resale price.

STR 1% for this quality for any given year and for range 5k-15k imo, so your projected yearly profit is 50-150, while you yearly cost is only 15. This is going to be very profitable one day, imo.

@Shamrock your domain name study / university is beautiful, meaningful new gTLD name, I like it!

It was first registered at July 1014, then someone holded it for 5 years, then it was recently dropped and you got it 3 days ago.

General Availability of .university started July 30th 2014, and name was registered on 31st..so definitely a very good sign of it's quality, as this means it is one of the first names registered in this extension.

It carries premium renewal fee of approx. USD 80 at many registrars (if I am not wrong).

Obviously, the name has very good value, as it makes great semantic sense, and can make memorable website basically for tens of thousands of end users worldwide. I would suspect that it can also have very interesting ranking properties, if developed properly.

My (guess)estimate is 5k-8k with STR 1% for any given year of holding, if the name gets good exposure towards end users. If you want to resell it, I think you should park it with dan.com, and also check what traffic it will get.

Great thing is also that there are not much close alternatives in new gTLD space to this name, the only viable alternative I can think of now is study / college (available at the moment of writing, but with yearly renewal fee around 600/year at many registrars.

At the moment your name is parked at registrar where it was registered, and end user has no way how to contact you (in WHOIS, privacy is activated in all fields). If you want to resell it, you definitely need to setup a landing page asap.

The resell price can be even much more then 8k, but that would require lot of exposure and excellent presentation to end users (in short, ability to explain many aspects of new gTLD names, and potential advantages of the name to end user in great detail). Without this ability of the seller, I would stick with 5k-8k range in the passive holding mode (name is parked, and waiting for offers).

If above holds, the name is so-so investment imo, as projected yearly profit is 50-80, while renewal fee is 80. This type of names will not make you rich imo, from statistic point of view (if you just park it passively, and unless you can do very targeted and effiective outboud with your names).

To make new gTLDs highly profitable, I would personally prefer to aim at least for 5:1, maybe even 10:1 or higher ratio between yearly projected profit and yearly renewal fee, or alternatively, to be very active in outbound effort if this math ratio is not present there. It is just my personal opinon and prefernce, thought.

While math is so-so imo, from semantic point of view, it is very nice name.

CBD / World
@BrandsOpen about your domain name cbd / world - you obviously know what you are doing, I really like that!

The name is properly parked at venue where it belongs. First good point.

It is short, desirable, and can create great international brand for cbd products, without any geo limitation.

The name has just low, standard renewal for .world, which is around 25 at many registrars.

I would guesstimate it in price range 2500-7500 with STR 1% for any given year of holding. This means that projected yearly profit is 25-75, while yearly cost is 25.

Btw, you can also transfer the name to west.xyz atm, where yearly cost will be only 5. This will make your ratio between projected yearly profit and holding cost 25-75 : 5, which is as good as it can get.

I suspect name will be highly profitable , defnitely a keeper! And an great example of how profitable new gTLD name looks like, imo.

@lolwarrior Thanks a lot for your appraisal!
There was a problem with the parking - the previous owner did not delete the listing of the domain after its expiration. But now everything is OK.

Could you please say where it is possible to learn aspects of new gTLD names, and potential advantages of the name to end user in great detail?;)

You are at best place on internet imo...thousands of posts related to new gTLDs are here at Namepros.

I would advice to read all new gTLD posts since 2014, you will definitely learn a lot.

I do not know about any other centralised independent resource, really.
