I have domain tab.guitars about 5 years, since it will be expire soon and the renewal is about $136 and the cost too much, i need some advice

Should i keep renewal this domain ? or should i let it drop ?

If i want to sell it, any marketplace that fit with .guitars extension?

Drop it. I play guitar (have done for years, my kids play etc) and have one great guitar tab domain name with high volume. I say no.

Even the domain name I have has it's work cut out for it. There is too much great competition in .com

If it's for example guitar.tabs then it might have chances of selling but this combination is not so great imo. Would't renew it for that high fee.

I wouldn't say drop it but rather make something out of it. The renewal fee is high, I get that but lets not pour your investment ($136 x 5) down the drain.

If you know any local shops who sell musical instruments, especially guitars, then perhaps approach them face to face and try explaining them how owning a THEIRNAME.guitars might help establish an online brand identity for them.

Sell the domain at any price the other party is willing to spend on it so that you'll reduce the loss atleast.
