I sense there is some confusion between the terms Libra and Calibra.

Libra - A cryptocurrency run on the decentralized open source Libra Blockchain. The Libra Blockchain is controlled by a consortium of business's called the Libra Association. Members of the association operate the nodes that control the blockchain and have limited voting rights for operations. Facebook/Calibra is only a member of the association and NOT the controller. Think Bitcoin.

Calibra - A Facebook company that will feature a digital wallet for the cryptocurrency called Libra. Calibra is Facebooks product to profit from the open sourced Libra Blockchain. Think Coinbase.

The distinction between the two terms is very important in relation to domains. Personally, IMO I see no opportunity for the term Calibra, but I see great opportunity with the term Libra.

It's also notable that Facebook used the term "Libra" in their name, Calibra. This seems to indicate that the Libra Association approves of the term in 3rd parties as Calibra is.

i also think libra is a generic word used in all niches so its most likely safe to use . calibra maybe but i doubt it i cant c them going after tm issues in domaining as it would take reams of paperwork and lawyers to do so. highly unlikely as calibra is also a car so they would have a tm issue with fb too as it was around b4 fb calibra.
