I have regged over time the exact same short keyword domain name in 15 tlds including the .com (the .com version with an "s" at the end however), that r all within the same vertical industry niche, which is about to become a huge growth market as the news and research gets released to the mainstream. I do not own the .net and .org versions however.

I have researched out this market quite alot and am quite confident that the product will be released to the world in a short time as it grows. I cannot say at this time the niche however.

I was curious if I could get more $ selling all 15 domains in 1 lot or selling individually which would take alot of time and effort.

My thoughts were to find buyer for the entire lot so they would have a major portion of the domain tlds covered in their portfolio

How would I find a buyer for the entire lot? through a broker?

suggestions?

and btw no its not in 5g! lol

@artstar Mate I hope you will make a mint.

Now if you are only playing and you don't mind spending money, then it's cool and enjoy yourself.
You are trying to make money out of it I suggest you go back to the drawing board, check what really sells in terms of extensions and keywords and come back strong.

Anyways good luck!

Unfortunately there seems to be a trend here lately with basically worthless threads which are a waste of time reading such as this one for example and one of many. I really don't get the point of the conjecture, guessing and assumptions when the OP is mysteriously keeping the domain secret.

If I am reading between the lines correctly (I may not be), It seems he owns the com with an 's' on the end but the other 14 tlds are all singular so again what is the purpose of buying the other 14 assuming the key name and assumed higher value (non-plural name) is owned by someone else?

One more issue is the OP said "How would I find a buyer for the entire lot? through a broker" How can that question be addressed without knowing the domain names so why post about it and ask but keep it a secret? Makes little sense to me and leads me to believe the names are of little to no value. Again, a worthless waste of time very long thread to read.

PM one of us the name if you need a real opinion I do see everyone's point you need to reveal name in order to be assisted. You might have made a mistake with plurals and odd extensions for resale but you might take advantage of the traffic cpc if it is new and get established now in engines.

ok here it is : NO
Yeah, I asked which ccTLDs...some of these are nTLDs...u said the keyword is of medical niche...e.g. Surgery.club/surgery.shop! 😁
oh sorry just .ca as cctld

hey theres nothing wrong with the plural .com version in many instances. domainers r wayyyy to fussy and end users will forego simple things like the "s" IF they really want the domain that is

Mmm that does work for me. I could do with a little more, is it like with automation, a medical procedure, or what

Using insulting word word bugger-of (and mate) indicates you may be British? In answer to your question, I read the thread for its comedy value. Why are you afraid to reveal the domain? I am guessing possibly because your 15 names including the plural .com are of similar value to the horrible names in your signature?

If it's a hot keyword like cannabis for example then you would probably be better off selling them separately imo. As far as end users securing all extensions I only see that with clients who are new to the online world or clients in a very competitive industry or clients that know they have a super hot keyword.

well say if a corporation as an end user had all 15 would that not be a good thing to redirect all domains to the main site?
No not really. Any site worth anything has good SEO (natural mostly). Also, are you going to promote all those domain names and if so why do that instead of promoting one? Makes no sense.
Is there any chance in typo/mistake type in? EG someone types "WhateverYourNameIs.meh" instead of"WhateverYourNameIs.com"? Again, unlikely.

As for brand protection, this is what copyright/trademark is for, then you own ALL the domains...

if it is an EMD, wouldn't the manufacturer or producer or retailer be the end user?

If you're trying to sell this as a pack, offering all these TLDs is gonna devalue your .com or .ca if you find the right end-user. I'm saying .ca as well as for a Canadian company the ccTLD would be important to own.

Anyway, this is how it's gonna pan out. For the sake of the argument let's say you're selling it for 15K. Your perfect end-user in a new niche comes along and will be like:"right, 15K but I'm only gonna need the .com. 1K is my final offer".

I agree with all above, it will make probably it harder to unload if you will not split the package up. Keep us posted through the years.

It does not matter how many tld you have registered, If the name is not good no one will acquire it.

sure but i did say it was a good domain so why do u doubt me? its short sweet and to the point. u r just being a contrarian for the sake of argument and saying the obvious. u think id rave on here about a domain if it was lousy? not that i care what people say as ill back these domains up anyhow, its a good threadtho that makes people curious.

An interesting question - thanks for starting it @artstar . Here are my non-expert thoughts...
  • I think that it would be very unlikely that an end user would want more than a couple of TLDs at most in the same word, so don't see trying to sell them all together to an end user as adding value.
  • While it is possible that a domainer would like idea of controlling many of the good TLDs in an emerging medical term, I doubt that you will get a good price by selling them as a package to a domainer.
  • I think it does make sense to sometimes take the same word in multiple extensions, but in most cases 15 seems like a lot. If it was an AI field, I can see taking maybe .com, .ai, .io, and possibly .tech or .org for example.
  • I can see, in some cases, taking extra TLD as a defensive move so that a comparable domain name was not sitting there for hand registration.
  • All this being said, there are cases where the exact word (or a couple of variations of the word) have sold in many TLDs. E.g. esports and e-sports have sold in quite a few TLDs. If I was the first to see that coming, registering 15 might have paid off.
  • In your case I would try to sell them separately, at varying prices, and in a year time look at probability of sale and return on each in assessing which it makes sense to renew.
Best wishes with them.

Bob

It's ok if you don't want to share the name. But since you asked how you can sell it, there's lies the problem. Without knowing the name no one can tell how you can sell the names.
