In this thread, I will give you my opinion about your submitted new gTLD domain name.

I will focus not only on its numerical appraisal, but also will take other factors into consideration (mainly renewal fee and what you do with the name, where it is presented, etc), to debate whether it is a good investment choice (in my opinion). Just because I am a new gTLD investor it does not mean that I will give good opinion on crappy names - so I will tell you when I see no value or potential. 2. This thread is related to new gTLD domain names only - I can not give you my opinion about .com, .net, org or ccTLD names like .de or .co.uk names, as I do not have enough direct experience with them.
3. I am not responsible for any damages related to my advice - it is only my personal opinion, although I will really try my best to give reasonable, and well-balanced opinion.
4. You can submit only domain name you personally own.
5. For security and privacy purposes, all names submitted and discussed in replies must be in

Good catch. repair.dev is a registrar premium domain that is $479.99 plus another $479.99 for each year renewal.

Payment // guru

@Vatsal Patel your domain name payment / guru is similar to success / guru which I appraised in
post no. 784, with the difference that I would feel it's resale range is somewhere between 2k-5k in 2019, with STR approx 1%, or maybe slightly smaller STR.

Considering this domain name has again just a small, standard renewal for .guru, it is a good one. But comparing to success / guru, I think it will be more difficult to resell, and also number of end users is smaller (although still pretty large, as payment industry is a big one).

The one more major obstacle I can think of is that .guru does not go so well (imo) with keyword "payment", which is usually connected to a serious business. Usually a more playful, or general keywords go better with .guru - payments/banking is a traditional business, while .guru is more on a playful side in many cases, so to say. .Guru can form very nice,but more of a non-conventional brandables.

So while I think succcess / guru is an absolute star, payment / guru is not that good, but still very nice name, and should be profitable.

Naturel / Store

Organic or natural in French.

@Gia Kumar about your domain name naturel / store - I unfortunatelly do not feel it much. I tried to google it to understand your reasons behind registration, but not much wiser after the google session.

.Store is english new gTLD extension, and will not work (exceptions are possible, but with very low probabilities) with french keyword.

In dicussion with MapleDots in this thread few posts above, you have said that "naturel" is premium keyword - and this would be true in .com, but not in hundreds of new gTLDs.

To make this point stronger, combo naturel / boutique is atm available to register for reg fee (standard renewal for .boutique)., and this one actually make much more sense for french end users, as .boutique stands for shop in english. So this is better combo for this group of end users. You need to ask yourself, why someone would pay some premium to you as an domainer, when they can get something better for the same keyword for 9.9 USD (check uniregistry.com)/)

You can also register naturel / market, again for reg fee (standard renewal for .market).

Now, to make my crusade against keyword "naturel" weaker, it is true that japan registry which runs .shop identified this keyword as premium, and is asking 600 / year for it in .shop extension. So this could help you in defending your price to end users, as .shop and .store are very close alternatives in new gTLD space. But that would mean those end users should not know about .boutique or .market reg fee alternatives for this keyword.

However I look on it, I think this is type of name which is very difficult to get any good results with.
There are other negatives (like french market is very small comparing to global market, etc), but above argument about available alternatives in new gTLD space is the major one I see.

I might be wrong of course. If you still like the name, you can maybe consider to move it to west.xyz where it costs only USD 8 to transfer in, and USD 8 to renew - it can save you tons of money, as .store domains cost around USD 40-50 at many other registrars).

@leadnetwork your domain name miss / wine seems like very cute new gTLD brandable, I like it

The domain name has standard renewal for .wine, which is around 37-45 at many registrars.

It has nice graphic appeal, and I like the 4L.4L symmetry as well. This is nice example of nice brands new gTLDs can create.

This is, imo a clear case of so-so investment name when it comes to math: my personal feeling is that it can sell for 1,5k-4k in 2019, with STR 1%. Or maybe more, but STR will go down dramatically in this case, imo. The name will probably require lot of outbound even for STR 1% guesstimate, but at least end users are very well defined here. This is type of name which if presented to right end user, has good chance to be liked.

But from math point of view, the situation is not that ideal - if above guesstimates hold, projected yearly profit from the name is 15-40, while the yearly renewal is 37-45. This seems not to be in a favour of domain investor holding the name. Just imo, and I can be wrong of course.

(The situation would be much different would we know about some registrars where .wine is cheaper when it comes to standard renewal fee, but at least I personally do not have such knowledge atm - if someone knows, pls post it here, thank you).

This is nice example of name where you have almost endless alternatives in new gTLD space.

Btw, really great combo would be learn / poker, as we have also .poker new gTLD extension now available. Checking alternatives in .poker, someone might like also more close or distant alternatives like study / poker, about / poker, master / poker, etc. Those are still very nice names, probably taken by now.

But we can go further, with word1word2 alternatives in .poker:

learnonline / poker
masteronline / poker
aboutonline / poker
etc.

Or end user can switch to other new gTLD extensions and prefer something like:

masterpoker / online
masterpoker / live
masterpoker / today

or

studypoker / online
studypoker / live
studypoker / today

or...

...honestly, imagination is your only limit.

Now, your name learnpoker / online is still very nice, it makes great sense, but to sell it, you need to find enduser who actually likes only and only this one name, and nothing else. It can happen, but your end user will be actually someone who will want to develop this domain to some online poker learning center, which means this end user will probably not be totally uninformed about all the reg fee alternatives.

IF you sell it, it can go for 800-1,5k, maybe even more, imo.
