Hi i have had some luck doing outbound seling a domain i bought from an auction for 100 usd and sold for 1750 but i contacted 300 companies. Got 2 offers.

Whats the best method, to buy closeout domains for $25 in total and say 20
Names a week = 500 usd and try to do outbound? If i sell 1 in 7 and contact 30 companies for each domain for 500usd thats a 1000 profit per week. Anyone do outbound fulltime with low cost domains?

How did you contact 300 companies? Social Media? LinkedIn? Yelp?..

Google leads to either emails or social media (including linkedin), so which is it.

@rohitgoyal is the right person to ask. He does exactly what you're talking about.

Also, I'm looking into the same idea. There are ways to automate to eliminate effort from the equation.

It seems like the strategy you did works, you just want to re-invest your profits into better names. Take the $1750 to get a super high quality name that has a better chance of selling for $5K. Repeat the process.

The problem with low-cost domains is that it takes roughly the same amount of work as a high cost domain. So instead of increasing the quantity of your outbound, increase the quality.

Barman not really as 5k domains are much much harder to sell outbound, and this is what i'm looking to do. Plus it's hard to buy good domains at good prices even at auctions they go for way too much especially dropcatch. I bought fundadministrator in the .com for 500 usd seems too much even though its an 18 year old domain but only had 1 offer on low $$$ via outbound where as supplementmanufacturer that i bought for 100 i had 2 offers outbound 1750 and 1000

I use google using the keywords of my domain and visit the website and try to find the email of the ceo if not i use contact us which is what i used to sell this domain- contactus

Do you do this manually? I've made a similar thread to yours recently.

Might shoot you a pm later.

Yes manually i sent about 300 emails to supplement manufacturers, i put a price of 3k one responded with 1k next day i get a response from another saying 1.2k is what we can pay i then negotiated and actually the sale was 1.5k via escrow but he was late in paying only by w few days and offered me 250 via paypal to say sorry . Dont we wish every end user was like this feel free to pm me

Your idea is one I am testing out too. After having significant luck in outbound with $1 reggae, I had your idea to ramp it up to buying higher-priced outboundable domains.

But I haven't had a sail yet.

And I fear that the limit is in low x,xxx. Like, if you buy a 10k domain and expect to flip for 50 to 100k via 2 weeks in outbound... companies just don't have that kind of cash to drop that fast.

But I believe if you choose wise domains for $50 to $288 and outbound for xxxx I think it could be fairly regular turnover.

But don't waste your time on closeouts tower because that requires hours of searching everyday. HD's bots snipe the closeout domains before they even enter towers becajse they put in a 12 bid at 3 minutes left auctjon end....

So best to stick to exo tower

So 50 to 288 dollar domains, where do you buy them? Its hard to find even reasonably good domains for that price in auctions and how many can you flip? 1 in 2? 1 in 3?

Get on the phone. You will get better at emails over time but the same holds true for cold calls to decision makers...build the more effective skills.

It's true that actually calling a business would probably improve conversion rate.. but it's also more mentally damaging when they hang up the phone or say something stern.

With emails, I rarely receive a "no." And when I do, it's either "no" or "no thanks." Which doesn't hurt. But i'm sure the intonation of voice and stuff you don't see in emails will come right through in real-time on the phone.

Not really worth the xxx to hear that stuff. Plus, they may say something else entirely.

Whats the best way to sell outbound? Say for example you have a domain should you just email lots of companies and explain its at a fixed price on undeveloped that way you will have no idea who bought it some domainers do this or do you negotiate?

hEY, you're like 17 years into domaining than me ^_^. I can't really give you advice. I should be asking!

But i find most luck with giving fixed price then providing buy now link. Then if no one bites, but you see they click buy now link, then send email again (Retrace!) with lowered price.

I sold some domains via out bound emails.

Made 9$ reg fee to 1500$.
Mostly to law firms.

But the success ratio is 5%

yeah its alot of hassle its best to buy domains that max 200 dollars with over 200-300 potential end users i think you could sell 50%. I.e 1 in 2 domains for 1k to 1.5k this way. My aim now is to sell $2500 per week via outbound no hand reg

Wow at $1500 for 5% success rate... You can outbound 100 per month no problem and sell 5 for over $7,000?! That's like legit Adjunct Professor salary :O

would love to know how you find the domains. My legal domains can only sail for about $350, some lawyers won't even pay more than $200.

Very unlikely but my aim is now to sell $9-10k in total domain sales per month 8 domains per month via outbound. Will only be buying 100-300 dollar domains . I think this is possible with the right domains, will update you all as i progress

If I try to sell 20 domains by outbound, only 1 sells. That's 5%
