So someone contacted me via email. from an Afforda.com email address. That's another thing. anyone deal with Afforda too?

So it's someone I hardly know who supposedly got a buyer for me. He's not taking a commission from me. The buyer is paying his fee.

The thing is he's really pushing the use of this company I never heard of Escrow.domains never heard of them but I think I saw their ads on NP

anyone use them yet? any bad or good stories to tell?

About to go ahead with this deal. but since I never met this "Broker" nor used Escrow.domains I'm weary.

Would set my mind at ease if someone could tell me that they are a trustworthy outfit.

with my luck I go ahead with it. Hand over my domain to escrow.domains and never get paid and lose my domain.

Thanks in advance.
If both of these companies are on here sorry guys. can't blame a guy who's never heard of you both to just trust on say so.

scam how?

Plus the "broker" told me I'd get paid via Paypal from Escrow.domains.

would it be wrong to contact the buyer? I knew the buyer already. I reached out to them before this broker reached out to me. plus the broker never did devulge who the buyer was. but I dropped hims that I know who it might be. he never confirm.

is he just buying it to flip it for double? or triple?

I removed that comment. I initially thought the offer might have been related to another scam I have seen lately, but that is not via email. It starts with a text message and works differently.

Regardless, Escrow.domains is a legit company.

Why don't you just contact Escrow.domains if you have any questions?

You are assuming you know who the buyer is. You are not positive.

Are you taking any less by using the broker? Maybe the buyer just prefers to use a broker because they are not experienced with the process.

Who knows. Who cares.
A good sale is a good sale.

I only sell domains for amounts I am happy with. I could care less if people flip domains I sell.
They might have have better connections in a field than I do.

I hope this is not a subtle advertisement for Escrow.Domains and Afforda? Well, they are 100% legit and fully licensed. That's the escrow partner for Sedo. So, if you have ever used Sedo Escrow, you've probably used Escrow.Domains. They are based in Washington DC i guess?

I have used them for a $50,000 transaction which was handled personally by Stevan Lieberman who's also the CEO and Attorney for APLegal as pointed out already. The only negative thing I'd say about them is that Stevan is very fond of ignoring messages which (to me) is very annoying and unprofessional.

Just wanted to say. The same scenario applies when going to a club or bar these days. You walk in and Bam! You're infected with Ebola of the "Johnson" or the "pink taco" lol hehe
