One of my favorite critics JB Lion recommended HosterStats about six months ago, and it means more to me than other tools I use like GD's Valuation/Analysis, Namebio and Google. HosterStats tells me how many times a domain has been registered, for how long, who hosted it, when it was dropped, when it was renewed. While there are times I really like the fact it was registered before, ironically there are times that I like that it was never registered. For example, I was looking to add to my Idiom domain portfolio a few hours ago when I searched the idiom "Down The Hatch" it was taken, but I started playing with the name, and in a few minutes came up with "Down The Catch" GoDaddy valued the name at $1,431, and while I don't put much faith in GD Valuations I decided to check it out on HosterStats. Guess what.... no one ever registered it:xf.smile::xf.frown:. Then I checked to see if "Down The Hatch" had ever been registered, and I learned it had been continually registered for 19 years since 2000 and never developed....now that's a "hoarder" for you. I actually liked the fact that "Down the Catch" had never been registered making it a true domain creation/origination and I plan to use that when I sell this name to an "end user"

I just luv HosterStats....sometimes you need to read between the lines, but it's still a great tool. What's yours?

Funny. I own it, but certainly have not for the last 20 years.

"Down the hatch" is obviously a popular phrase, which has received many offers.

Good luck with "down the catch".

Small world ))

Now, I wouldn't underestimate the potential of "down the catch". If this guy is managing to redefine and revolutionize the multi-billion domain industry single-handedly, he can definitely introduce new idioms into English for daily use of the billions of speakers around the world.

And while Bible says "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.", soon everyone will be saying "In the beginning was the Domain, and the Domain was with Bulloney and the Domain was Bulloney"...
