O-H-C//com
Bought from Dynadot for $10.99 (+ 1 renewal)
Sold in private for $28.99
$10.99 + $10.00 or so and sold for $28.99 ?
$8 profit ? :xf.confused:

I won't report anything under $1,000. Why report $8 ?

I dropped A-D-D,com few days ago and figured that these arent my cup of tea. Hence took whatever I could from O-H-C and tried staying clear :)

$8 profit and investment back in the pocket is still better than nothing at the end of the day IMO

I won't report anything under $1,000. Why report $8 ?

You not reporting is you, and me reporting is me.

I will even go ahead and report a loss on an investment which incurred a loss so that someone else could learn from my mistakes and not make a mistake of investing in similar niche or try to do better than me.

Different ways or angles of looking at a situation, I guess.

Atyn.com - ($361) godaddy auctions

LaunchChain.com - ($306) Namejet ~ purchased here on namepros for just $15
Wish I still held launchchain.com.. the NameJet auction didn’t perform the way I hoped, the ending time for the auction was also on a Sunday morning... I don’t use NameJet anymore

its still good roi... its a com but maybe there was reason it was only $15 on namepros... but its still nice name!

I wanted to ask you about gd auctions.. do you often list there and generally are happy with roi? do you use reserves/min prices there on the 7day auction? any upgrades like homepage?

seems to be atyn was bit low sale there. ty.

Not a fan of GD auctions, if I get a reasonable offer through make offer I’ll usually run it through the auction to see if there are any others interested

Not a best way to go about IMO as "some" buyers walk away from the domain name.

My experience hasn't been very good about pushing the domain to auction.

Most of the Squadhelp sales reported here seems a pattern of advertisement. IMO.

I don't get you, but at least when SquadHelp send me a yearly 10% sales through rate email I will have data to verify unlike the Brandpa & other who send 5.4% sales through rate & I am still scratching my head to get it verified

A sale is a sale.

You sure about that sir jimbo?

You are contradicting you earlier statement of why someone would report even a 10 buck profit sale :-D

No, I am talking about the posters reasoning.

I still would not post an $8 sale.

I Sold TokenFaucet.com for $21,000

I am probably as shocked as you reading this. I have a handful of good " token " domain names that I registered 3+ years ago, before the term was widely used in the crypto-space, but I always thought of tokenfaucet.com to be one of my weakest.

Last Thursday I received the email from Godaddy that my premium listing sold, the money was in my bank account 6 days later (yesterday). I am surprised the buyer didn't reach out to me and try to negotiate. I am curious to see who or what company bought it, and what they will do with it.

Of course I am ecstatic!

Congrats.

"Token Wallet" is more popular and used term than "Token Faucet". Which is also available as premium on GoDaddy for $34k not that high from $21k. But the buyer needed "Token Faucet" and maybe "TokenWallet.com" holder has to wait for another 5 years if the right end-user buyer doesn't show up.

Nobody actually knows what's gonna sale for what and when. So, don't get disheartened by EXPERTS comments on your domain...EVER!
