Undeveloped.com, should try and increase its workers if need be.

I have lost 3 sales in a month because the buyers are thinking it's a scam, even one of the web developers of a buyer contacted me, and was saying that he doesn't have enough trust to continue with the sale.
All my domains are pointing with to undeveloped.com
I even closed a sale and paying me it's a problem for close to 3days now.......

Lazlo is great and please you guys should try and assist Simon in his department.

I know it's not easy. But let Ud try.

Thanks

thats weird.
myself and just about everyone here except you finds undev has best/fastest response support... as well as fastest payout.

I've also never heard of buyers thinking its a scam or not having trust. did they say why they think it? I mean is it their name they don't trust... their logo? or the size or color of their font maybe?

I believe they haven't come across the marketplace before.

I even called undeveloped.com thrice (3)times but it on voicemail. I wanted to know if there would be a way, they could to convince each of the buyers..

Often if not always when buyers use that word in combination with our brand its because of the communication style of the seller that performs outbound on them. Keep that in mind as well...

Ok thank-you
But if I am to ask, why is there delay with processing of payment.
I requested for payment via Btc since on Wednesday when the domain was transferred. Till now no show....
Previously it was always faster with Btc.

Hi Promxy,

Our support team can answer and resolve this type of inquiries. There are a plethora of reasons that can cause a delay. Reaching out to the support via our support widget will always result in a response in 24 hours max.

The service level we can provide also depends on how the user interacts with us and via which sources they communicate.

I’m not sure if it’s the case with you, but another common reason for delays with some sellers is sending multiple messages in a row. We pick up the customers waiting longest, when submitting new messages you reset the waiting period and will get a response later.

To conclude, message your escrow agent just once. If payment isn’t sent for whatever reason after 24 hours, contact support via our supporr widget to find out why.

Take care,

Reza

Please add these changes to your Blog, Twitter or elsewhere so that sellers that don't watch this thread closely know about it. Undeveloped is always improving the UI but I have the impression people only find it out casually.

Hi Legendarynames,

Absolutely, when our revamped Dashboard goes live, there will be a section with "what's new" where all this type of updates will be shared with you.

Kind regards,

Reza

UD really needs to spend a day or two creating a detailed help section for the new stuff. It really should take more than an hour to do it all and will help new people instead of a lot of head scratching.

Things like getting a Google Analytics account setup or at least the basic steps would save so much confusion. Some new items seem to have little to no explanation anywhere, unless I am missing something.

Good afternoon friends,

We are excited to share that we have several open vacancies at Undeveloped.

For this particular vacancy, I would like to consult our sellers' expertise and network first. Due to our steep growth, we are looking for additional account managers to assist you with all your sales. The account manager should be operative at Pacific Daylight Time. This will help Undeveloped increase its service for all our users operating in a completely different timezone and your accessibility to our services.

The account manager should:
- be able to operate at Pacific Daylight Time
- have significant knowledge of the domain industry
- have a proven track record as a domain seller/broker
- have a service and sales oriented focus
- have the ambition to help Undeveloped and its clients grow and excel

In case anyone comes to mind please have them forward their resume and motivation letter to [email protected]. We have established a referral bonus of $200 for whoever delivers the perfect candidate.

Have a great weekend!

@Undeveloped should try focus more on checkout pages. I ve seen two sellers talked about their buyers reaching out to them to complain about getting the error "oops" during checkout or during make offer. I m not sure if this is true but if it is, its going to hurt sellers and possibly make them start changing there nameservers away from undeveloped.

And if this is true, i can only imagine how many deals have been lost during that time, cos very few buyers will wanna come back after experiencing such

Have heard something similar from sellers. @Undeveloped should investigate this

that would be awful indeed...especially for makeover..cause the other can be sorted out later.... I must say I am getting fewer offers and leads than I did with some other landers...overall... However I find offer to sale conversion better than elsewhere.. As well as payout speed...support..etc... But leads and offers do seem lower than some other places

Do u have any concrete proof of these issues? Any comment from @Undeveloped

I would like to hear more about this too. On a related note, I think it would be beneficial to see the count of visitors who actually go to the checkout page - thus we could calculate the rate of abandonment... For example, if we have a high abandon rate on some of our names perhaps its because the minimum price is too high and we could adjust prices to see if that helps sell more..

That's a good point . I think its possible going by the recent discussion I had with @Undeveloped when a buyer refused to pay for one of my domain names. Undeveloped do track payment attempt by buyers. It will be a good feature if implemented

Hi Neyoweb,

If you raise such a heavy topic, one which we're monitoring 24/7 with automated trackers, it's more helpful to contact our support team with actual proof and or the names of those sellers you're referring to.

I can't comment on rumors and whispers in backchannels. As far as I and my team are aware, there are no active issues and no seller or buyer has contacted us with such issues recently. We also see no drop in conversion rates across any funnel. And if we'd do, I can guarantee you that we'd be the first to spot it and find a solution for it.

What I do know is that we closed last month with 27% more sales than the month before and if you look at our reviews, that we're providing a top-notch service with an average grade of 9,3 which is very high for our industry.

Kind regards,

Reza

Just an idea for a future far, far away - an analytics section where sellers can search past inquiries grouped by buyer ID. Example: I know someone who comes every now and then under a different email, but same IP, and makes a lowball offer on one of my names. I tracked him down to being another Undeveloped seller.

It'd be very useful if we could search inquiries history not only by domain, but also by buyer's name, email, IP address, etc.

Not sure if this question has been asked and answered yet, apologies if it has already been covered:

When importing a lead to Undeveloped, can you offer to sell the domain on a payments plan? Can you switch that on yourself in the admin section, or is it automatically there, or do you need to contact support?

@Undeveloped is there any way do turn off buy now option and only offer "Installments" option on landing pages of domain names?

Has anyone been successful in tweaking your pricing/payment terms based on the data, especially the real time data, you see in GA and scored an offer or even a sale?

Otherwise, merely looking at the location and the channel (Direct/Social etc/) wouldn't really help us much, right?

Just curious on what your experiences have been so far with GA.
