Whenever I scroll through the beginner section of the forum, I am reminded of the days when I started domaining in 2013. The energy and inquisitiveness are just contagious.
Newbies with so many questions hunting for answers, looking for help, exploring and waiting for the first sale to happen to actually realize that one can make money online and it is not all a scam.

For that reason, one of the very first questions that I would suggest all newbies to ask yourself is if you are really hungry to succeed?
The only reason that you can fail in it is if your hunger is not enough to sail through the process of figuring out what works in the industry, what works for you and how you are going to scale!

So, my question to all of you is,
Do you have the hunger to make it big in this particular industry?

If yes, are you ready to read, research and take notes for the first 20-30 days to get a knack of the industry and start off properly?
Do your research very properly and read daily!! It is not only the $100-$500 that you would be using to try out the business. You would also be investing your time in it!! Make sure you make it worth it!!

Share your doubts in the comments and I shall help you with it!!

Last week while I was updating my prices, my spreadsheets, updating at various marketplaces, making some logos, reading and researching, I thought about, then I headed over and registered BustingMyAss.com.

P.S. I like the email @bustingmyass.com :)

@Arpit131 hmm, this is very interesting post. But I do not think anyone will succeed in domaining because they are "hungry to succeed". Most succesful domainers have following features:
a) they are visionaries, aka miles ahead of general public with their thinking
b) highly intelligent and very smart
c) greedy

You see lot of "small guys" earning 200-500/month from domaining, who think they succeeded. Well, it is all ok and respect, on this level, yes, it is enough to be "hungry for success". On large level you spoke about, you need to be very very smart, visionary, and lets, admit it, greedy (or if you do not want to use that harsh word, lets replace it with "you really have to be into money") :)

Oh, and I forgot one thing: you need to be very, very patient. We speak here about years. Almost all those who are flipping (holding few days, few weeks, then selling for few USD), are (with exceptions) going to almost certain financial poverty.

So it is all in our heads. 99% people are without any chance, no matter if they are hungry of not hungry...I simply do not believe that ANY effort can help, if you miss a, b and c.

I disagree a bit. Yes, those are qualities that are needed and can be acquired. There goes a saying, "If you figure out the why, you will almost always figure out the how"
Any case, yes those qualities are required and acquired whenever needed, in a business set up.

Keep the hustle going!

It is only to help you set a goal. It is free advice from people who struggled and then made it, so as to help you shorten the learning curve!!
There is nothing selling out here!! The link in my description is an ebook I wrote!! I am not promoting it via threads!! This is a general advice or thought process development which you are free to ignore!!

Keep it coming guys!
What is your mindset? How do you feel about the industry?
Are you reading hard?
Taking notes?
What problems are you facing?
