2019 NamesCon, ROTD, NameJet & Brent Oxley Auction. Easy Reserve Price/Valuation info for Buyers

1) 336 Total Domain Names so far. 263 – .com, 47- .net, 9 -.org, 3 – .info, 3 – .co, 2 – .us, 2 – .nyc, and then 1 each of these tld’s – .club, .restaurant, .surgery, .pro, .pizza, .taxi, .chat, & .rentals

2) 11 domains with a reserve over 1 million. (broker.com, create.com, give.com, home refinancing.com, kleptomania.com, lucky.com, PregnancyTest.com, QO.com, SoundSystems.com, TexasHoldem.com, & vaporizers.com)

3) 3 domains with a reserve from 900k – 1 million. (bride.com, CPU.com, & drone.com)

4) There are 55 domain names w/No Reserve.

5) There are 3 domains with an Estibot valuation over 1 million. (penis.com, QO.com, piano.com)

6) Estibot REALLY likes penis. (That would have been a great title for this post – lol). Penis.com is the highest Estibot valued domain name by a landslide at $5 million+

So, I wanted to share this spreadsheet with everyone and hopefully it helps you as you compare reserve price categories in a much easier fashion along with Estibot valuations in case you use those valuations in your buying methods at all.

I actually have many more thoughts than these (6), but those were a few key points. If you have any thoughts about this auction, Please comment!

If half of the 11 names with the $1 million reserve sold at the minimum reserve (and not a single other domain sold), the commission to the organizers of the auction would be $1.375 million. Seems like a lot for conducting an auction!

Ok, many many updates just kicked my ass but I got it done.


As of yesterday (Jan. 1, 2019) they added (60+) more names. Everything new has been added in red.
They are all updated now in my post...

Here are a few key stats to these newly added domains yesterday...

There are (12) more "No Reserve" domains added.

There is (1) more "Greater that 1 Million" Reserve added.

All of these new additions that I just posted are all highlighted in red.

Also changed (4) domain reserves. @Name Trends told me about (4) domains that have lowered their reserves to 1 category below the category originally listed.

You're right! The payoff would be awesome even if ONLY one of the "Greater than $1 Million" domains sold...
250k for all the work, yeah I could deal with that for dealing w/all the BS of putting this together.

Couple more domains dropped down one category of reserve prices.
Analyst.net dropped from 5k-10k into 2.5k-5k category.
Spasms.com dropped from 5k-10k into 2.5k-5k category.

Couple additional observations I had also that I find interesting.

Highest New gTLD Domain Name Reserve Price in auction so far is newyork.pizza in the $100,001 to $200,000 range. It has an Estibot valuation of $13,000.

&

Highest ccTLD Domain Name Reserve Price in auction so far is for smart.co in the $75,001 to $100,000 range. It has an Estibot valuation of $8,200.

I have just been informed that the Estibot value on a couple domains I have listed on my NamesCon Live Auction Cheat Sheet have a discrepancy with the Estibot values listed on the NameJet/NamesCon domain landing pages.

I had to check because in creating that all in one place page of all domains/reserve categories/Esti values, I copied and pasted over 1000 domains and prices. I sure could have made a mistake. Checked and double checked and my prices were correct. But, the other reserves were correct as well.

Here are two domains where the Esti values are different from Estibot's site and the NJ/NC auction landers.

This is part of the message I received from a member here.

CaliforniaTours.com should be $13,000 (not $3,210)

NewZealandTours.com should be $4,000 (not $2,400)

Well my info of $3,210 and $2,400 from these domains came from the NameJet/NamesCon individual landing pages of auction. His Estibot values actually came from Estibot.com. So there is a discrepancy. I could see if it was maybe a 0 missing as a typo but for a totally different value at each page, I am not sure. It might be that @NameJet, were copying and pasting values into their spreadsheets by the hundreds, from Estibot and they accidentally left a previous price in their copy and paste from a previous domain, not sure.

It could be that @Estibot values have been changed between times of entering domains into auction. Not sure.

Either way, if you are using my cheat sheet and the Estibot values are important to you while setting up your bidding, please do your due diligence and very good homework if you are a serious bidder in this auction.
