I bought a domain name 2 years ago for like $330, offer it via efty landing page and godaddy buy now at $9,888
Yesterday recived a offer via godaddy listing offer for $500, countered $7500, offer again $2000, countered $6000...

I want to know who could be the buyer who offered me via Godaddy Listings though the domain is only offered buy Now at godaddy! and he avoided landing page!? Does not look like end user?

The domain is f /a /r /a /x. c o m

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
when I look up this name at godaddy, it is shown as a make offer listing, minimum offer of $500. No buy it now.

I see you have it as minimum $1000 at afternic with a buy it now. The godaddy listing will show if you have it specifically listed at godaddy. If you delete it at godaddy, your afternic listing should go through to godaddy.

They have a account manager who help and inform clients on the client behalf. They take care of everything for their premium clients.

Then thats a good sign...I should have even countered higher maybe:)

Don't be afraid to decline either if they offered you $2000.00 second time.

Seems like they are committed. Perhaps a BIN price on Efty to give the buyer a hit of what you will settle.

Ok. But how do you make an offer from that page? So perhaps they were searching like I did. And all they see is make offer over $500. which they seem to have done.

You started at

9,888

7,500

6,000

he started

500

2,000

At this ratio you are dropping way too fast and you are leaving money on the table. It is an unusual domain and chances are it is a business end user. Personally from where you are at now I would calculate my costs (including commission, acquisition, & renewals) and tack that on to a 5k profit margin and stick.

I have made more money on a few domains where I have stuck to my price than hundreds of piddly little sales.

it is funny, I got offer for $800 then $20,000( he increased himself without counter offer) for this domain on godaddy, so I accepted the offer, and now it says pending buyer purchase

of course he is not serious or the buyer made a mistake:(...I wish it is a miracle:)
