A week or so ago CENTR (European country code association) released their quarterly report on global registration statistics and analysis.

Today I put up a brief run down of some of the points that stood out for me.

• Country code TLDs account for 44% of all domain registrations.
• European country codes dominate the overall global country code universe.
• The ngTLD registrations are up 11% on a year over year basis.
• Driven both by strong renewals and registrations, .com grew 5.1% YOY.
• A significant .net registration decline 6.1% YOY.
• Registrations in.info suffered a drop of more than 17% YOY.
