Domain never my main businesses even I have started owning domains in 90's. I did nothing for all the 4,000 domains until I have parked with afternic and sedo.com. Parking with sedo.com was extremely good with great monetizing clicks revenue. Unfortunately, the parking revenue dropped drastically since three years ago with monthly domain sales and auction.
After the personal the data restriction and privacy recently, I have never had any sales with sedo.com for the past three months, no sure if that's the affect of the Personal Data Protection Act ? I think I need to do something for all my remaining 360+ domains....
Namepros.com have been quite good since I joined a year ago, but never had a chance to explore to the fullest. I have, thru namelpros.com , met two broker who also helped to sell a few of my domains.
I have started to use undeveloped.com recommended by a friend and have since started to park at the site, no sales so far.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
My offers and sales are down boy over 50% at SEDO this year. SEDO parking pages don't work for people using ad-blockers. If someone makes it to the sales page, there are a dozen+ links to distract them.

Conversely, I've had more sales through Afternic and Godaddy.

if your names get traffic, then try parkingcrew.com, voodoo.com or internettraffic.com

I still use sedo as well, but utilize other ppc platforms too.

imo….

Whenever I look at a sedo page I see nothing, my ad blocker removes the entire page and in the address bar it puts a "z" after the address. When I see that I now know it's a sedo page but most people will just click past.

Sedo needs to do something about this because everyone I know is using an ad blocker and for Sedo to not rework the page somehow is just plain crazy.

As far as sales platforms go I think it might be tough to beat sedo. For parking consider your own lander.

It sounds like your pretty much in the same boat as me with just under 10% of your peak holding remaining. We therefore have to accept there's a reason those are the ones still held. Just not as usable or desirable, no matter how much we like them personally.
I have done much better with outbound on my remaining domains purely because they seem to be good matches for just one or two specific business. ie, businesses that have picked up the wording long after I registered the domains

I emailed SEDO and asked if they will update to SSL and fix the landing pages to work with ad-blockers. A redirect or link to the sales offer.

They asked for screen shots because they haven't had any issues with ad blockers. Dumb.

Dont park with sedo but we still get plenty of sale via sedo afternic and undeveloped

We hold thousands of high quality domains so that helps and a normal month is 5 - 10 sales we dont ever park with sedo as the pages are just so dated this year is very busy for us all depends on how much stock you have its good to mix it up and invest more into more domains once you make more sales rince and repeat works for us :)

TQ for all the good leads and advises. I suppose I need to explore and start working for all my domains. I am happy if anyone keen to bulk purchase my portfolio, all my 360 domains are between 20 - 25 years

sedo is a horrible platform, stick to afternic, godaddy "make offer" and efty or undeveloped and you will sell domains. Also good strategy to auction domains on sites like flippa or namejet.

I have binancebrokers.com with Sedo.com and although it's had over 200 visits in a few weeks, I think it should have been a lot lot more. Wondering if I should try different platforms. Anyone got good advice ?

I guess due to rise of app market places people are more into tablets and phones. They love to check things through apps but it doesn't mean it has impacted browsing. People still browse over internet to look for information through search engines. But this might have impacted the domain industry a bit. Content makers have their youtube channels instead a blog with a domain. Things are more vloging instead blogging.

Sedo is always my first choice platform to selling domain name since 2006 but I think it's time to rethink about it.

Reason 1 : Serious protential buyers unable to view sedo parking page
Reason 2: Your domain may not be found from Sedo Search (even with SedoMLS activiated) while you have to pay them 10-20% commission fee on a successful sale.

I had a domain parked with sedo but I never received an offer for it.

I recently received an offer for that domain from domainagents.com and it made me believed that the potential buyer had no way to view the parking page and therefore the buyer decided to spent $25 USD on domainagents to make an offer on my domain.

I think the corporation buyers had adblocker and firewall installed and they had no way to access Sedo parking page.

By the way, make sure that your domain is appeared on sedo search. If you cannot find your domain from sedo search. it's better to swap to Godaddy / Afternic platform. In my experience, I have some domains had activiated SedoMLS and the domains are still cannot be found from Sedo search.

One of the best parts about Sedo's market, their brokers, their brokers get a lot of enquires from end users to find them their name for their business, Sedo's brokers are very-very good at what they do, In my experiences with Sedo, when i am contacted, it is most usually by a Sedo broker on behalf of an end user, the sale has always been smooth and error free. I don't ever park any with Sedo though. just list them.

Another reason: Sedo's 0-redirect parking page frequently leads to malware infested pages which cause a big red warning flag to be thrown up by the popular browsers and also associates the domain with malware which means they might also incur a penalty

holy sh*t.....i didn't know about this but wouldn't this be bad for their company and something they would identify and fix immediately? I always thought they had deep pockets and that problem seems serious to me.
