This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

Do not post only, "great sale" or similar as this doesn't contribute to the thread. (Don't reply for the sole purpose of complimenting.)
  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

Sorry about that. Doing $249 upgrade on a 4L.net is wrong IMO

you began wrong.. overpaid it on np imo.
but maybe you did good to pay $250 list fee... cause at regular 9$ list fee, it could have sold for much less and you'd end up losing much more than just $100 on it. like maybe double of it.

I disagree on the purchase price; I think it was/is a bargain at $300 as well at $500.
This domain sold for 10k in 2012 and is registered in over 100 extensions.
I should have renewed it to 2025 and sit on it instead of (impulsivly) throwing it on Flippa.

It's a scam :-P

Thanks

Nice ROI on a $1 xyz , I can see DarkNet going xyz , the least path of resistance for dev.

Good Job!

After the sales commission, I break even. I purchased the name about 10 years ago and redirected it to a landing page for a product named rvision. When the manufacturer closed, I parked the name and earned about $25/year.

Sale Price: $120 ( $96 after commission)

I've sold a couple of domains since I started domaining 9 months ago but this was my first unsolicited sale from a marketplace. So I feel pretty peachy about it plus it's my first time posting a sale in this thread:)

Purchased 6-7 months ago for $150

Had a BIN for $1500, first offer came at 750, negotiated up to 1200.

Sold Pariso.com on August 6, 2018 for $750 at Uniregistry Market via BIN landing page.
$75 commission to Uniregistry.
$675 net sale.
Paid $130 for it at Sedo.com on June 9, 2014.
Less than 419% ROI after taking into account four years of renewals at around $9 each.
Not great, but good that it was a positive ROI in the end.
