GoDaddy Managed WordPress Hosting promo

Godaddy does has a Managed WordPress Hosting service where they do the updates and you do not have to worry about installing WordPress or being an expert. Of course once the promo period ends the renewals go back to the regular rate. Regardless I believe it is worthwhile to learn some basics about website development. Currently the Deluxe option for one site has a promo rate of ~$5 monthly while the developer option for five sites has a promo rate of ~$14 monthly.

That GoDaddy Deluxe Wordpress Hosting plan at $5/month is only if you prepay for 3 years. Its a higher monthly fee if you prepay for less. Unless you are sure you are developing a website for that long, I don't think its worth it. I think its better to get the GoDaddy cPanel if you want Wordpress hosting on GoDaddy - it takes a little more effort on your part to get the website set up, but cPanel has roughly the same features, maybe not as user friendly as the straight GoDaddy Wordpress Hosting plan. And you can set up multiple domains and websites on one cPanel.

Good luck!

Without knowing what kind of problems, this doesn't help too much. What was the issue? I've been using GD managed WP for about 4 years now and haven't had any issues.

it's been a while since I switched them out, but you can change the domain name as often as you'd like, right? Meaning you can start with Star.com and later change it to Moon.com that has WP hosting.

I don't do much with it except use WP themes without much extra, so maybe no issues because I'm not asking much of it at this point.

Yes - once you delete the website for one domain, you can then set up a new website on another one of your domains. There is no limitation on how many times you can do this that I know of.
