I don't think anyone should be held up in this industry by a bunch of people patting each other on the back...

I believe each person much find the people they find reliable and consistent for themselves - and reputation will then be earned instead of awarded by a tight/vocal group of domainers who may or may not be disconnected from the reality on the ground.

He's a machine I tell you!

If you sell a couple of good two keyword. coms etc

it is usually the result of hard work etc and sometimes it might be luck etc

But to sell so many as he does consistently and as a uk domain investor its good to see the. Co. uk and. uk domains sell for the prices he sells them for

I nominate @MapleDots!

He is a frequent and thoughtful poster here on a variety of topics, has a wealth of experience with domain name investing obtained over many years in the industry, and this year made some major moves in assembling a really stellar domain portfolio in the .ca extension (he of course also has .com) - names like red.ca, rule_violation and perfect.ca.

I like a lot the attitude and tone that he takes to his comments and posts here, something that our community can learn from. e.g. see his post from overnight at this link. The post also shares a bit of his history in the domain name business.

I hereby nominate him for Domain Name Investor of 2018!
