Please help a newbie!!!

Hi guys. Have been here for a while now reading as much as I could and I can't describe how you guys post has helped and is still helping me through my domain learning curve.
Am having issues getting a particular contact of the end user of a domain I registered when I was on the normal newbie domain registering spree with little or no information about domaining.
I remembered checking namebio then and I saw superstarfilms.com sold for $4900 so I checked for similar expired name available and I pick up supergoodfilms.com without considering end users at all. Later, while I was checking for potential end users I noticed it is only one major prospect I have that could likely buy the name. Which is RB choudary an Indian producer who is the head of the production house super good films.
Have checked and I noticed they don't have an official domain name. But have been searching for his contact information for a long while now without any positive result.
Am hoping domaining bosses could help use resources in their disposal to help me see if they could pull anything out . And give advice on what I could do regarding this domain. Thanks very much

With a direct hit .com the company will find you, patience is a virtue, if you contact them it opens the door to a world of problems.

They either want it or not, they can register supergoodfilms.in but of the are a larger company they will eventually come to the .com.

That said.... with no website presence in this day and age chances are you are wasting time. Just spend 30 bucks, register it for 3 years and sit on it. Worst case you lose 30 bucks, best case you make a few thousand, you have pretty decent odds.

Thanks man, but it doesn't even look as if they really have a web presence, reason for me wanting to contact them. Just to make them knlw they ought to have. At least they have been in operation for more than five years. And as you said at this age and they haven't even consider getting a site. I don't even know how long I would have to wait before they would think of getting one.

With a direct hit name why would you contact the company, put up a poetry site or something and let them find you. First of all you run the risk of them telling you that you purchased the name to sell to them and they have some sort of right to it etc.

Sit and wait, a direct hit comes to you. Trust me, my biggest sales have been direct business name hits. It's a dream when it happens and in at least one circumstance I would have lost my domain had I contacted the company first.

that is the connection for the phrased domain name.

when searching past sales, do more than just look at the price, before running out to register what you think are comparable similarities.

I totally get your point. Am just getting that aspect that you just don't register comparable name sales without looking at some factors behind that particular sales in question.

Nice, just watch out though since theres anti cybersquatting and typosquatting laws but I'm not sure if that's the case in India. Good lck to you!
