I like .one extension a lot. plus I got a few offers on my .one domains lately so I am all warm fuzzy about it.

I decided to share some warmth by creating a showcase thread. it would be nice for me to hear your .one domains. who knows maybe we can even trade some.

here I go first:

  • 3-d.one
  • arcade.one
  • bookmark.one
  • copyright.one
  • dictionary.one
  • eternity.one
  • explorer.one
  • gambler.one
  • immortal.one
  • input.one
  • kinky.one
  • meta.one
  • metaverse.one
  • prototype.one
  • rep.one
  • satan.one
  • subject.one
  • terminal.one
  • torrent.one
  • virtualreality.one

and to get you more pumpted about .one, here is some great sales already, not by me:

Thanks :) Chosen.one would of been a killer name :p Almighty.one Is nice!

These two are my first .one domains. @Fancy.domains , Where have you made your .one sales?

Afternic and Sedo. No private sales so far.

Most have actually been through GoDaddy Auctions. I have sold 1 (.one)[pun intended] privately by a whois lookup and also sold on Sedo and Afternic.

@HotKey
They own many POLO domains...
But this .one was ignored.

My best ones like dry, esc, dxb (A.K.A Dubai) and remember were caught at expired auction.

Crazy people didn't renew these names when renewal price is < $ 8 :xf.eek:
100 x $8 = $800
1K x $8 = $8K
etc.
So drops are usual event... nobody renews all 100% domains except microdomainers.

Interesting. Do they own other new G's? Perhaps they are not a fan of them?

I would suggest we won't be seeing exponential growth in .one, it will continue to be a gradual adoption as people come to understand the awesomeness of the one. As they become enlightened, they will grab the opportunity of the one and only.

Grande and Polo to me are ok, but not the absolute best fits, if that's what you are thinking. Polo is better. Generally stay away from combining another language with .one. Plurals too are tricky, only a few work.

They are Polo players...
And this sport is very popular in NL...

This is just 1 example...
I had a few other cases... when even .online/.life were preferred by the incoming buyers vs .one

---

This is the standard rule for newGs, where word at right of the dot is explicative.

And it is mandatory that word at the left must fits with the word at the right. Otherwise domain has not any value.

In my opinion this rule, for .one, is true at 50%. I see .one like a "generic" extension.

In fact my fresh sale of s / e / a has not any fit with one. It is only a strong keyword like polo.

Just my 2 cents.

true... it does not have to be a hack like sitution.. though its nicely made extension for that... couple I own like this are: immortal.one.. kinky.one...

I think like you that .one can be more flexible and generic than this... which is why things like sea.one are selling.. where I do not believe it is very flexible is when comes to plurals.one...... of course there is always few exceptions.. or words whcih are best plural.. like shoes or what not.. but generally, I know people have no success with plurals.one

cheers

Just rechecked see.one - 2018 year, drop as well.

I saw a few of 3 letter words drop in .one... like see.one.. not all are worth owning imo

just because its a 3 letter word.. doesn't mean its worth to have

One more example from my portfolio: RELAX

I prefer vision over see in the dot-one..Vision.One

Sea/One...wonder if it was sold to Sea Ansley, ceo of Mother Domains?
I know people have no success with plurals.one
cheers
I've had Robotics / One listed on Sedo for a loong time. I put it on there because its plural, didn't want it as part of my collection but the name could be valuable to someone at some point in some decade. I will keep renewing it. 0 offers.

Another plural I have which is actually one of my favorites Headquarters • One, a plural which actually combines well..

nice!

those are precisely the exceptions I spoke of so my comment does not applyk to them

whether its shoes, robotics, headquarters.. sports.. glasses, etc..

what I meant by true plurals is things like dreams.one files.one...... etc..

I'd definitely keep renewing robotics.. I do like the word headquarters.. but its a bit too long for me :)

all the best.

@Jurgen Wolf if you are looking for results, I don't know that these will cut it. "One" is one of the most if not the most used word in a business name..but the only I could find with a company using it is advertisementone/com. I like both yours more than the .com actually, but its not such a huge improvement on their existing name I can't see them being too enthusiastic on the upgrade.

I don't always cross-check my dot-ones because many times they stand better on their own than combined in a .com, .org, or .net, but with weaker fits like in those two, I would do a bit of homework.

Just pointing some stuff out to you because you're sharing your names but were also wondering why you aren't getting results..so I hope it helps.

No worries JW- just my take on them, and possible reasons why no interest. I'll lay off.

But I don't use Afternic DLS / GoDaddy / Sedo MLS...
.one solely (without registrar exposure) is hard to sell definitely...

Noticed robot/one is available now, it had expired Dec 3rd. Priced at over $500 for reg. Wonder if it was always premium, or originally a regular renewal? Horrible drop by the owner if so..this is a top name.

hard to say
about this one

but I think its easy to say that when .one started.. many domains were not premium that would be premium now

and maybe in some other cases, they were premium in 2015. .. and increased in price later.

Thats why I wondered..the robot could have been one of those lucky scoops at regular fees. One thing thats nice about the .one registry, they don't raise prices on you during active renewal years.
