This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

Do not post only, "great sale" or similar as this doesn't contribute to the thread. (Don't reply for the sole purpose of complimenting.)
  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

TheVRblog....com..... 1450$... gd premium listing (bin) -20% fee...2017 handreg

good roi... but probably set bin too low in the premium section and just forgot about it for months... like many other vr sales, i totally see this domain going up in value in time.. as VR progresses... or other future techs domain sales... be it holo or others... note also that thevrclinic..com sold recently for 4k too (not mine).... then also thevrcompany..com... ~2k.. but that was way back in 2015... not mine either.

Got this one from Expired domain auctions. Bought with an idea, listed here on NP, was sold at BIN. Buyer must have a better idea than me, IMO. Good luck to the buyer. Nice deal. (y)

Undeveloped, $250 (Make Offer)
Picked up on the drop, purchase price $2.99 (GD offer a few months ago)

I keep most of my names at Undeveloped on make offer and I used to have a $90 min. and get so many $90 offers and no responses when I countered - just raised minimum on a bunch of names to $250 and this was the first offer that came in.

• Sold: K/A/YA/K/I/N/G/G/com $105 offer @ Undeveloped (net $95.55) - didn't counter didn't care and didn't want to lose the profit since I was dropping it this month.
• Paid 36 cents for it last year I believe
Was going to drop it this month and abandon the plans I had anyway so not bad for a small sale

A few recent ones I can disclose:

Outdoor/Addicts//com $2995 BIN at Afternic
Purch in 2012 $40 at another forum

Up/Chain//net $1900 Min offer of 499 came in via Undeveloped, quoted $2500 they came up to 1k, I went to 2300, they went to 1.2k I said 1.9k is final price, they agreed. They also acquired the .com around the same time. Hand reg in Oct last yr.

Me//st $1295 offer/counter offer via Sedo
First offer was 300, I countered 1995, they countered 700. I came back with 1295 stating final offer. Communicating thru message system thru Sedo buyer let me know he was waiting for funds and would accept. Interestingly buyer countered same price of 1295 to extend offer period, which I accepted. Purchased here in 2015 for $60.

Great sale. I'm curious, you seem to have a very good idea when it comes to choosing nGTLD combos, what made you realize that BIN would be a good word to have before .CLUB? Was it for the Buy-It-Now or bin as the place to to throw trash? Or something else?

I bought it when I lived in an illusion that LLL .club would become valuable by default. It was during the chinese domain craze...

In this case, I THINK I was lucky that the transcription of ”bin” has a meaning in an Asian language. Waiting for a upcoming website. ;)
