I created by hand domain Duralyt.com not having idea when I register it that anything exist. I just liked it (short & strong)

Today I just check for the fun of it with UK TM search and found out that big corporation has TM on that name regarding: Telescopes, binoculars, sighting telescopes.

Does the TM affect my domain name?
Should I be scared
Should I create website: about dog call Duralyt to protect any possible TM issues
Should I don't worry

I register the domain in 2013 in good fate.

What's your take?

TIA to all

It seems that this trademark is no longer registered:

Thanks 1 Darko,
I saw that just now as well, but that's USA TM
In UK TM is still active...

You can use the name then for other products not related to this trademark.

Ok, good. So, as domain name is fine then.

It would be perfect domain for the Carl Zeiss - stupid to approach them?
Can I sell it to anyone else?

It is similar to Duralite too.
To be honest, if you thought about that name, it's probably because you've been exposed to the term in the past and it was buried somewhere deep in your subconscious.
You may think you made it up, but instead simply brought it back from the depths of your brains.
That is the power of branding :xf.smile:
