Hello all,

First I'd like to publicly state: Thank you NamePros/NamePros Community for developing templates, otherwise this post would probably be even more of a mess.

What’s your name?
A: My name is Jon Wegner, I officially founded Avant Bellwether in 2014 primarily to help businesses and individuals to achieve what they've set out to do.. More info on that available at AvantBellwether ditcim

Where do you live?
A: I live in Salt Lake City, UT. There are rumors that exist (Even in the internet era) that all Utahns are Mormon, while not true, it's completely fine by me.. only because other rumors still exist. Some Pre Internet Troll was able to convince some UK citizens that all Utahns have horns on their head. Don't believe me?
Google: Deseret News Black Capes Plane Horns

What’s your level of expertise?
novice, intermediate, expert, etc.
A: My experience falls within a gray area, as I've built websites and registered domains since 2003 or so. (I was 13, so I let go of some domain names that would make most sick) I continued to build and sale websites, or develop websites for customers. Unfortunately you can find my older, budget friendly/cost free websites out there.

How much experience do you have in the domain industry?
years, experience, etc.
A: 15yrs of designing, developing and selling fully functional sites. Less than 10 in TLDArbitrage
and less than 2 of developing & donating websites/domains for great causes.

What would you like to specifically learn first?
how to buy a domain, domain history, best selling strategies, government policies, etc.
A: I'd love to learn more about ccTLD reqs, and oh man.. I would love to add some domain history tools in my toolbelt. Honestly, what I need to learn is Patience even when liquidity is low. I've had some conversations with The Domain King, Rick Schwartz and he has helped me more than he knows.

Are you currently working on any projects or ideas?
A: #qanon #TheStorm #TheGreatAwakening <-- I am not the originator of this project and I stand to gain nothing from promoting it, aside from spreading awareness. Curious? See QForAll (.) com QTide (.) com and QFide (.) com.. coming soon is qclearance (.) com, PanicInDC (.) com +30 more
2- Veterans Project* ALL/% of DOMAIN PROCEEDS DIRECTLY AID IN DEVELOPMENT OF AVANT BELLWETHER'S VETERAN SERVICES. MORE AT AVANTBELLWETHER (.) COM
3- Project 23 |
we are taking trash from landfills and building houses....... no joke, how much better could it get? Proceeds from select domains further our efforts. We are traveling to Sri Lanka to build our first plant. See more at avantbellwether (.) com / project23 (just removed most text and we are updating goals)

What are your short-term goals in the next year?
A: By end of 2018, Avant Bellwether aims to sponsor 20 Veterans

What are your long-term goals in the next 5 years?
A: Develop a non profit for the support of Veteran's while they await their benefits. That's just the macro description

What was your first domain you purchased?
A: Haha! Given that I've gone through hundreds of computers since this purchase I can't guarantee 100% accuracy: FreeRSPartyHats.com (or some variation of that) Well..... I have to say, RS Classic was THE BEST.

Why did you start investing in domains? Please tell us the story.
A: I actually began investing in Domains (at a very small level) back in 03/04 because of an MSN article mentioning the Domain King, Good old Rick.. And again.. some of the domains I let go of in the mid 2000's would make some sick.. surely makes me sick. Fast forward to 2016/2017, I renew my TLDArbitrage interests due to Michael Mann's prosperous/generous nature. Mr. Mann has also helped me more than he knows just from seeing his current and past projects that are attributed to domain proceeds. Thank you both, and thank you all for reading this. I understand it's lengthy, but hey you only get one first intro right?

Feel free to reach out at any time, if I have something that could benefit someone else, I will make absolutely sure I am available to do so. Also, apologies for grammatical/spelling errors, I have to run and take care of some family business.

Thanks,

Jon

Hey thanks for the welcome,

No I actually need to edit the RS part to include full context. RS = Runescape, which used to be an awesome MMORPG back in the early 2000's. There may be a few DP'ers that fill the blanks, and maybe some that wont like my comment about RS classic being the best. Party hats were a rare and very expensive item worn by the elite players. At the time party hats used to bring like 7m in game tokens, which translates into roughly $70 or so. I am super curious as to the roll cryptocurrency will play within the game if it isn't already.

Looks like I need to revise more than I thought, as I wouldn't classify any individual within my intro as a contact, but surely wouldn't mind if that was the case.

Thanks again for the warm welcome and I look forward to getting to know you.

I admit, I may have gone overboard.. I surely regret not taking a second to browse intro's before posting. In any case, thanks for the welcome!
