Title : 4 470 000 JPY (about $40,000) offer for your domain XXX.com from Japan

Hello!

I represent a buyer from Kasugai who wants to buy XXXX.com for a
new web project.

Are you still interested in selling?

The buyer is a professional investor with a good budget.

I located your contact information via whois search.

If you have more names I may help you to find buyers for them.

Best Regards,

Itsumi Nagoshima

Second email

My buyer is interested in such names because he believes they will cost much more in 2019 - 2020.
Do you have .net and .info extensions? If yes, let's include them in this sale.
Commission of our company is only 5%.
The buyer offers $40,000 USD.
He will pay you money via Authorize Net (First German) Escrow. They support buyers from Asia and it's important for my buyer. He can only pay in JPY (Japanese YEN) and they will convert them into USD or EUROS to send you the payment. The escrow supports many payment methods and you will be able to receive your money easily.
Do you have a certificate? It's required by the buyer's bank.
The certificate must include the following to be accepted by my buyer:
- Ownership verification (the certification agency must confirm you are a legal owner).
- Legal verification (proves the domain has no problems with trademarks or other problems with the law in Japan).
- Restriction verification (the domain must not be pledged or sold to third parties).
- The certificate must be up to date (issued during last 30 days)
- Copy of the certificate in Japanese (required by the buyer's bank).
- The certification agency must be authorized by my buyer and his bank.
My buyer is a professional investor and he won't be able to send you the payment without this certificate. There is no other way for you and us to finish the sale. The payment to you will be made via escrow service to protect both parties during the transaction.
You can read about certification agency that is accepted by his bank and supports a copy in Japanese at Google Answers: http://no_url_shorteners/yc5o8jro (I've made short form of the long Google Answers link. “Domain Broker” is my nickname).
The process is very easy (you can do everything online in several minutes):
1. Go to the certificate agency site accepted by my client and order the certificate. The service recommended at Google Answers is accepted by the buyer's bank (they support Japanese and English languages).
2. After they approve your request please make the payment. The certificate will be sent to your email within several hours. Send the certificate to me and we will start the sale process the same day.
Our company also takes care about you as a seller. There is no risk for you to lose the money after ordering the certificate even if something goes wrong. The recommended certification agency won't send you the payment instructions if your domain has some legal problems.
They also provide full money back guarantee if you don't sell your domain via their escrow service within 15 days.
If you are new to the certification process or unsure which certification agency to use, I can help you with the step by step instructions how to order a proper certificate online.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Third email

It's a common way of doing domain business in Japan. This is a well known domain certification service in Japan and China. They are owned by a large payment processor and provide certificates in English and Japanese/Chinese/Korean languages. It's important for clients in Japan and their banks.

My client borrows part of the funds in his bank to buy the domain and the bank requires an independent valuation certificate of the domain name (appraisal). The certification agency must also provide a copy in Chinese/Japanese upon request to be accepted by my client and his bank.

I talked to the buyer and he confirmed his intentions so there is no risk for you. You can be sure he will buy after you order the certification. I worked with him before. He is a reliable buyer. The buyer guarantees to pay you the price I mentioned earlier.

Please submit your domain for certification at Authorize Web Certification Order Form.

They provide a copy of the certificate in Japanese, Chinese and Korean. This is the authorized certification agency of his bank. They also provide full money back guarantee. It guarantees us a smooth transaction and no risk of loosing money for you.

There is no risk for you to pay the fee. If you don't sell they will give the full refund. It's the only risk free way for you and my buyer to proceed.

There are only two scenarios for you:

1. You order the certificate. It's accepted by the buyer's bank and you get your money.

2. You order the certificate. In case the certificate is not accepted by the bank or the sale fails by another reason, you can easily get a refund. The recommended agency provides full refund if you don't sell your domain within 2 weeks. Based on my experience there is no chance for this scenario. If you order the certificate at a proper agency it will be accepted by the bank.

That's cute. Desperate ultimatums from the scammer always work in their favor.O_o
I think you should give him a third scenario:
3. He sends you the money. You send him the domain. Cut the certificate company out of the deal. Tell him he can transfer the domain to NS, and print out an official domain certificate for free. Yes, free! And it will be official.

In fact, after all this trouble of pointing the scammer in the right direction, I would consider charging him a "Domain Acquisition Advisor's Fee" on top of the domain's price. In fact, bill him even if he doesn't buy it.

He seems very firendly.
"You can count on my help."

I am sure I can :sneaky:

I told him that I did not have credit card currently but I can go to the bank and send the money.
Let`s see if he gives my a bank account number.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fourth Email

Since you are new I can help you with step by step instructions how to obtain a certificate. Please go to
Authorize Web Order Form

They provide a copy of the certificate in Japanese/Chinese/Korean and this is the authorized certification agency of his bank. They also provide full money back guarantee. It guarantees us a smooth transaction and no risk of loosing money for you.

They will send you the results within 24 hours after they receive your payment. Simply resend me the certificate via email.

After we receive your certificate we will proceed with the sale. I may help you with the transfer process. You can count on my help.

A Very good idea
But actually I did that already and reported to Godaddy too.

That scumbag wants me to pay in bitcoin.
If someone does not know once bitcoins sent there is no chance to get them back.

Replying to him take me only few seconds (one sentence no more)
I believe it is worth doing that, just for the sake of showing to new domainers how that dishonest creature works.

Our commission is only 6 %. The commission is divided between you (3%) and the buyer (3%). It's paid after you get the money.

The buyer offers 120 ETH (Ethereum). If it's ok let's proceed. You will be paid via Ethereum, wire transfer or Western Union.

The payment to you will be made via escrow service to protect both parties during the transaction.

Do you have a certificate for your domain in English and Japanese? It's required by the buyer and his escrow service. They must be sure your domain has no restrictions or problems with law in Japan. He won't proceed without it.

The certificate must include the following to be accepted by my buyer:
- The domain must not be pledged or sold to third parties (verification of restrictions).
- The Japanese law compliance verification.
- The certificate must be up to date (issued during last 30 days)
- Copy of the certificate in Japanese (required by the buyer because he does not speak English).
- The certification agency must be authorized by my buyer and his bank.

We asked him if GoDaddy or Sedo appraisal certificates will work for him. Now we are waiting for his answer.

3rd Email:

The buyer will send crypto-currency to escrow. They send 50% to you. You may receive the payment in crypto-currency or they may convert it in USD to send via wire/Paypal. You transfer the domain and get the other 50%. It's safe and easy.

But you need to certify your domain for Japanese market first. After you send us the certificate we will proceed with the sale the same day.

I talked to the buyer. GoDaddy and Sedo certificates don't meet the requirements (no copy in Japanese and no verification of compliance with the Japanese law). His band and escrow accept certificates from http://certified.authorize-japan.net. They are Japanese subsidiary of the large Authorize Net Inc. (very reputable International payment processor). Their Japanese certificate numbers are accepted by his escrow and can be entered in their smart contracts. They also make copies in Japanese.

Go to this site and select certification. Specify in the comment field you need a copy in Japanese.

Then send us the certificate and I will do my best to finish the sale the same day.

They offer full money back guarantee if your name is not sold within 15 days.
