What rights should the US Tax payers afford them? A fair trial with 12 jurors and given the same rights as a US Citizen? Unbelievable. Better yet, why doesn't the EU allow them safe passage to stand trial there and the EU handles them, since they are so benevolent?

Law is not an obstacle to abuse when it's no longer enforced (like the Bill of Rights for example). And laws can be changed when people get used to the new 'normal' and are conditioned to live in a state of permanent fear aka war on terror.

I have been reading too much nonsense here.
