I was reading this morning and came across an article on one of my favorite blogs, DomainGang. The article was about the domains Rick Schwartz recently registered. Here's the list I saw, and I've added some of the reg dates.

What do you think about Rick's registrations?

I guess there are still lots of great available domains! I definitely feel that way after looking at these registrations. :)

I wonder how much these would go for here on NP?

He must have some insider knowledge that corrupt media awards is going to be a thing. It is already isn't it?

Basically it shows he’s a big Trump supporter/lover and he regged a lot dotard pigeonshit names that he’d criticize others for regging, and I bet he drops them sooner than later. que sera.

I assume these are more novelty regs, with possible hopes to develop for S & G's?

It will be interesting to monitor these to see if he decides to hold some sort of fake news awards...

Will they be anything like the traffic awards? It's unfortunate that some of the winners of these awards turned out to be schmucks (and/or wolves in sheeps clothing)... Because now, rather than respecting an achievement such as domainer hall of fame inductee, I see those traffic awards more as a fake domain award(s). Which is a shame to those who may have truly earned it.

I'm surprised that most of these domains don't follow most of the rules I follow....

Long, long names
Number/Letter domains
Negative branding
Possible TM (Tr*mp & Twit*er)

Hmmmm, I really like Rick but some of these are stretching a bit too far for my taste.

One good fakenews domain would be far superior over ten so so or looooooooooog names.

Keep looking Rick...

Hell dust off the wallet and maybe even buy a good one, I hear there are a few available on namepros :xf.laugh:

I ran a few of these through GD appraisal......most below $200.

I don't even reg domains that don't show at least 1k. Not that it means much, but GD is inserting their value into alot of new places on their website. Good or bad who knows.

I dunno if he's a Trump supporter... some people will just buy names to keep them out of reach of other people (or competitors).

Not sure about these registrations, but Rick is a legend. Can you believe people used to send him available domains in the mid 90's, such as f***.com, and he would pay them $50 for sending him the name? My point is that over the last 2 or more decades Rick has always seen value where others haven't.
