Just discovered that new .com registrations at FastHosts are around a dollar.

Clearly I love the promos and deals, and there are always tricks to getting the promos to work in your favor, which obviously many people used FastHosts to be successful with. Personally, timing wise, my renewals took precedence over new hand reg, so the hassle outweighed the need *for me*

Yes, deal ended. We did quite well, registered about 100 domains with them. This particular offer had been running for a while so I suppose this was inevitable. I think they will probably struggle now in attracting new members... so long FH, it was good while it lasted!

I too have almost 100 domains with them now, and soon we will be looking to transfer out coupons
But might stay with them as well for another year as well.
Hopefully they will again come up with some offer soon.

so it sounds like it's worth the effort if you plan to buy bulk names and trade. For those just wanting one or 2 dot coms it would seem you would sell your life to save a few dollars.

Regarding FH and Afternic Premium fast transfer:

Had a few FH domains 'In Review' @ Afnic and removed/relisted them. After this I got an email from FastHosts to join the Afternic Premium (the domains were past 60 day lock). So looks like FH is indeed part of fast transfer after all although not 100% sure about it.
