Hey guys,

I thank all of you for bringing the best deals to the forum. And now lets take this opportunity to learn from our mistakes and improvise in the future...

I believe that if the domains were bought for only 10 cents and wont even sell for 11 cents it does not make any sense,

I propose everyone to put all their newly registered names here and also appraise others.

Lets take this hands on opportunity to learn and create a new generation of smart domain investors.

Minimum appraisal could be as simple as Very Good, Good, Crap, UtterCrap

Rules :

1) Humor is welcome. Sarcasm is most welcome. As long as it is honest
2) Lets learn from real thought of others about your domains. It can be offensive. If you cant take it dont post the names.

I'll take the lead...

1) MatrixSquad.com
2) Afforesting.com

3) Humility.co
4) Kreativity.co

5) DigitalCurrencies.blog

Looking forward to a lot of rotten tomatoes and eggs.

Cheers,
Aditya

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Though they may sound good but I dont think two words in any other TLD than king is a good investment.

with so many one word .co's and to word .com's still around, it just seems impossible that an end user will opt for a .co.

both seem like end user sales... why would someone build a site on a .co where .com is already developed?

This is my opinion. I maybe wrong.

@stub what do you think???

Yeah. It's going to be a hard sell. Unless the .com wants them for brand protection. I've done that on a few domains. But I probably hand-reg them, rather than purposefully buy them in the aftermarket. Or just wait for them to drop ;) $26/yr, soon eats into a domainers pocketbook.

As a general comment. I am pleased to see .co domains are in the majority in this thread. But .com will always be king. I don't see NGLTDs (even in totality) ever exceeding .com. Ever. I can see the logic of a startup going with a keyword(s) .co

Nothing, done buying handregs.. and domain industry, focusing more on web dev.

Are you into 4th year of domaining??
I started the same way.. with around 500's of domains. Now I have less than 100 quality (imho) domains.

Yup, Started domaining in Sept 2014. I would prefer quality over quantity!

Namecheap had about 5 -10 domains offer on .co domains for 33 cents each.. Probably that is why so many .co domains here.

I resonate with you. It is difficult for us to get real liquid domains. so I feel it is wiser to have a few quality portfolio and reduce the time & cost of maintenance.
I can see the logic of a startup going with a keyword(s) .co
That is the only hope for .cos I feel.

How about kidsfin.com

Not to put a damper on your expectations. But who do you consider is going to buy this domain from you? I personally can't imagine any use for this domain. But maybe I just need educating :)

Kreativity.co was my 1st domain name that I ever registered when I was introduced to domaining. Just checked my email, I registered it back in April 2013. Bcz of that I have to say that you have registered good domains .

I have registered:
Mor-ph-Scr--een in king

Purchased / Hand registered domains : 0
I have trimmed my portfolio from 800 domains to 180 now and further reducing the number but adding some quality domains.
This is the thing I want to do,,thanks for reminding :p,
I think limited and quality domains are easy to manage, renew & high chances of sales,

Wov .. why would you let it go. So many people looking for web-designing names.

Anyway. I hope your current portfolio is good.

TheMortgaged.com was the first domain that I booked with domaining perspective.

I've held on to it since then.

Thank you for this thread! Here're mine:

PhotoEdit.co
GlobalShop.co

What to do you guys think?

I like them both a lot, and at the Namecheap steal price I don't think you could possibly go wrong taking a chance on these.

It is interesting that the dot com form of photoedit redirects to photo-editor.online which is a landing page at Uniregistry. Why someone would pay lots recently for the .com and then not fully use it is beyond me. So for that one at least, right now there is not competition from a developed .com site.

I think if offered at a price you still make a very good profit, but a little bit aggressively priced, you should sell these and get a very nice return on investment! Good luck!

Using the rating suggested, I rate both as very good!

Lcdscreen

All. Co

@stub

I like these. Both viscosity and infrasound are nice if you have a science oriented company looking for something like that.

I think of the five the one I like best is pinna.co since it sounds really nice as a brandable name.

Does PinnacleSports have a TM issue with the UK sports betting company Pinnacle? Not sure, I do realize pinnacle is also a generic name with lots of other connotations (i.e. a trekking company).

Thanks so much @MetBob for sharing your opinion. I hope you took advantage of that promo too.
I've been bumping my appraisal thread with no success for 3 consecutive days in the Appraisal Section to get some opinions and pricing range for those two. What do you think is a fair price range for each of them?
