naturalbeauty.com sold at 9,999 USD on 2017-10-26 at Sedo, the previous owner bought it at Namejet auction at 64,900 usd in 2008. What do you think about this domain? Is it worth more?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
is it 100% confirmed that current seller was actually the same buyer in 2008?

I dont understand what all the hype is over.

$10k is actually on the higher side a little for a reseller IMO.

And who the hell even knows if the sale is legit with all the bullshit going on in this industry....

Let me tell you, stop assuming "may be domainers dont want to do this or that in development" - i am a domainer, and I have made close to 100k from google adsense/affiliates from sites.

And now i spent 800 $ on a domain recently and put in 15K on the development on that 800 $ domain which I am launching next week. Now go figure, now you can see the proportion of development cost to domain in this case.

Not every single case is same, and i just dont like false advertising, where people dream big because someone said we can help you make millions etc, and we will manage this or that.

All the best - but just dont get someone hopes when you know these may not take off - if it would have taken off - my friend you would not be here posting on forums - you would be in somewhere in caribbean taking vacations.

I Hope Your Web Development Isn't Like Domainscoop.com, this website of yours just says 'thank you' :)

That domain is worth $500,000 easily shocked it went so cheap. That must have been some sort of inside deal as that sales price being so cheap is hard to believe.

But instead of serving ads through Google we use our own banner-server. So if a client buys a campaign for his ads at 1,000 USD our income is 1,000 USD.

Really? How do you serve your ad's? Pre-sell them then rotate or fixed?

And the domain must have existing backlinks, right?, or the "other" method to get into the serps. I assume you don't plan on spending money on adwords also to get ranked- or is that the plan? 15K is hefty, congrats on that 100K ad income venture! I like to hear those stories.

I have got to get more involved with developing for passive income streams.

It's a great domain, no doubt.
But, with all due respect, what's really "shocking", is your tremendous miscalculation ("$ 500,000.00 easily") regarding it.

what is naturalbeauty.top worth then?
Hard to say the exact amount, but definitely more than naturalbeauty.com / ... / .xyz

How would you do that?

Beauty domain name sales on Namebio show just 10 over 10k, and one of those is beauty.com and another is the previous sale of this same domain. https://namebio.com/?s==kTMycDM4QTM

Most of those dates are pretty old now - the market is moving.

That said, beauty.com & naturalbeauty.com should still be worth really good money

No backlinks on this domain that I bought and I'm actually will be spending money on adwords and other promotions. This was just example given to this guy posted balantly how easy it is develop and make 9,999 when it really not.

Do they want cravingbeauty.com to add to the collection for a quarter of the price...

The owner was greedy and paid the price. Many domainers make the same mistake holding onto domains too long. I'm sure he probably received better offers in the past but he held out hoping to "win the domaining lottery." He probably needed quick cash and tried to contact people who made previous offers but they were no longer interested. So, he was forced to accept far less. Never assume a bigger offer is coming because there is a great chance it never will.

If the record is correct at all, I don't think a re seller should buy at such incredible price. Why? It seems the buyer had a price war , but why? at such rate; $64,900 is too high for any re-seller.

.com crash

It's why Kevin and others sold their portfolios to godaddy

It's why Frank started uniregistry

It's why Mike and Rick are desperately trying to perpetuate .communism on fb and twitter

It's why the usual gang of members will continue to attempt to deceive readers with fabricated explanations on forums and blogs because they are all part of the same cartel

Kevin sold only a part of his portfolio as far as I know. Your nGTLDs are still worthless regardless of .com performance.

less than 20 reported domainer sales globally last month

part of the reasons why Frank start Uniregistry etc. more likely to do with offsetting lost parking income due to Google, lowering payouts on domains.

if you think market is going down your NTLDs will go down even more, be careful what you wish for.

All of these are no any excuse for .coms
