You're absolutely right, investigations take time and it is sometimes important to withhold info in certain cases. That's exactly why they should not have blatantly lied within hours about crucial facts, especially when they didn't even need to rush out and give details anyway.
Baffling the lack of transparency, and the sheer stupidity of telling multiple obvious lies so quickly.

I want to know why there has been no news about the people in the hotel who have come forward to say they heard dozens of shots fired, then 6 minutes of silence, and then 10 minutes of shooting?

Weinsteins behavior was horrible. And sadly, not shocking that he used his power and status to get away with it. Happens a lot in other venues too. But how did this get twisted into something political? He isn't an elected official. Of course he donated money - and a lot of people who received funds are now giving them to appropriate charities...

Just a reminder that the CIC has been accused of sexual assault by over 20 women (including sickening accusations involving underage girls) and publicly admitted sexual assault in a video we all saw. But that was OK with you...

And why do righties keep holding up celebrities as examples representing everyone they disagree with? For cripes sake - there are fewer of them altogether than the population of my dinky little town, and they're a bunch of publicity hos living in their own little world. They don't speak for or represent anyone except their own isolated clique.

The real question liberals are missing in their rush to tar Donald Trump with the Weinstein crap fest,

1) Are the Rumors that Donald Trump helped Roger Ailes handle with some harassment charges before Greta Carlson skewered Ailes true? If so, those women are out their and might come forward.

2) If the rumors are true, why hasn't the "resistance" found them.
