I look forward to picking your mind about this.

Payoneer Escrow and Escrow are well known but not really a PayPal alternative; have you actually found any?

Share your favourite PayPal alternative(s) and tell us why.

Thanks Pros

Are you looking for a company that will try to take your money like PayPal, or a more honest payment service?

Why don't you like Payoneer?

The ones I like are Payoneer, NameSilo account transfers, and Bitcoin ( if I could get someone to pay me using it. :) ).

Anyone knows is it possible to use Payoneer buy now buttons or similar service that will redirect the potential buyer to the payoneer transaction page?

Does Payoneer pay out in Bitcoins should one ask?

Also is there any trustworthy escrow company that pays out in Bitcoins?
BTCrow.com and all others are dead.

I do not think I have ever said I do not like Payoneer Escrow have I? It is indeed my escrow service of choice.

But they do not do what PayPal does which is more of a multi currency online bank account that lets you send, receive and withdraw money to a bank account.

Also; 95% of my transactions have been via PayPal and never had ANY issue. Yes they are pricey and that is why I am looking for an alternative.

BTW Namesilo, the one you are referring to takes a commission of 7.5% and if on top of that you add PayPal conversion fees ( if needed ) you end up paying over 10-12%. Not a great solution after all.

Unless you sell on NS and use the money to fund your account and buy more names. But that is not what everyone wants to to, especially with x,xxx sales.

You can integrate payoneer escrow in your site.

I'm really sorry - I meant name silo. I had got "domain" on the brain as I'm trying to sort out my sales sites.

Name Silo offers a whole range of payment options including Payoneer and Bitcoin. and I think their instant push option is as good as an escrow service. I think it's 7.5% that they charge for selling through their market place.

Ok, I know they accept Bitcoin but would they pay you for a sale in equivalent Bitcoin if you ask them? Supposing the buyer paid in $.

Yes...I list most of my names thru the epik marketplace. They accept all major forms of payment...I will never use ppal again to directly accept payments.

Isn't epik payment only for names with epik?
I also think they have a pretty high fee to disburse to paypal

Yes - it's one of the payout options. I've just received a payout, but it was fairly small, so I just asked for it to be added to my account funds.

I need to ask NS if they factor in the miner's fee in the payout, and what exchange rate they use to calculate the conversion. They state that there is no fee for a Bitcoin payout.

I am not sure...most of mine are there. I don't think they have any added charges to accept paypal...at least I haven't experienced it.

Epik escrow can be used for any domains regardless of registrar...
Disbursement fee is 5% as I know...
BTC is supported as well.

I think the fees are for disbursement to PayPal account. That affects more people living outside the US of course as on top of Epik fees there will be PAyPAl outrageous conversion fees

Edit: Alright so 5% to disburse to Paypal plus anything between 3 and 7% from PayPal still a very expensive option.

Just one of the many reasons I do not use them...Jurgen Wolf provided an answer...thanks.

Great, so how do you get your money disbursed?
Because the all point of the thread is to find an alternative to PayPal .... we are all curious to know!!!!! :xf.smile:

I apologize if I didn't stay on the rails. :xf.smile:

To my mind ppal is just a middle man...they are not necessary for a transaction. Buyers are directed to the marketplace where they have options to pay by credit card, direct deposit, bank wire, bitcoin, etc. Epik processes their money and puts into my account...I can use it to buy/pay for my names or I can have it converted to cash for 5% fee.

Incorrect. The Epik 5% dispursement fee includes the Paypal fee, so they hardly charge anything for their instant marketplace sales and instant domain transfer to the buyer of your domain. Best deal anywhere!

I have left out a word apparently.
I was referring to PP exchange/conversion fees. For anyone outside UD who wants their money transferred to a bank account there are conversion fees.

I still don't understand why Epik is ignoring PayPal Masspay to be competitive vs other escrows like Sedo, which doesn't charge anything at all for PayPal-disbursement...

Let's explain this in an easier to understand way. Epik only charges a 5% transaction fee for their marketplace sales that include instant transaction and instant transfer of the domain to the buyer and instant deposit of your sales proceeds into your account. Epik waives that 5% fee for whatever amount you use for any Epik services, includeing domain reg, transfer or renewals. It does not matter what method you select to dispurse funds out of Epik, the 5% applies regardless because it was for the sale transaction in the first place.

Does the 5% cover disbursement to countries OTHER THAN US? If I want my money transferred to a EU bank account do I still pay only 5%?
