I want something very simple and modern

A good example of what I'm looking would be the logo for Confused.com. Keep things very clean, crisp and bright.

Colors: You have 3 choices--> Red and white, Blue and white and Green and white.

Yup the bigger .Com looks better. Can you get rid of the white bubble border around the letters and make the font a bit bigger, maybe like 1.5 px bigger?

Well I was afraid you'd say that, I don't think two blocks of color on the sides work very well here, so I decided to implement the com like this..

Hmm I see what you mean, I think your's probably looks better without the .com, but how about this for an idea, put the whole FreCarValuation.com in Car shaped box like you have in version #2 but have it on two levels like Car over Valuation? Also, seems like red is the best color imho.
