Let me start,

@Joe Styler

Please do not send transaction above $5k to Escrow.com any more.
Escrow.com is a disaster now since they request all the customers to send ID verification files.
Lots of buyers will walk away because of this bullshit ID verification.

I believe Godaddy is able to and should handle the payment process in house.

@Joe Styler, please why is it that Godaddy live chat doesn't come on? I have a domain name which I want Godaddy to help keep but I can't reach live chat as the box never comes on..

For two days now, have been trying to receive a name push (Godaddy to Godaddy). No name in my "incoming account change" to accept. No support to fix issues. This is very bad

Same to me.
Both sender and receiver need to confirm via email.
This is a worse experience than before.
Need to be addressed.

@Joe Styler

Most emails titled with Domain Auction Authorization Required from Godaddy Auctions do not resolve in Chrome explorer but OK in IE or FireFox.
Thanks.

With GoDaddy Auctions, the payment period is 5 days if the domain being purchased is registered with GoDaddy. If it is registered elsewhere, the payment period is 20days to allow time for the payment to clear and the domain name to transfer over.

Domain Transaction Cancelled.
Unfortunately, the funds have not cleared for the following domain name.

It seems Godaddy Auctions allows buyer 30 days to pay for a domain won in Godaddy Auctions,
this 30 days frame needs to be shorted to 7 days.

Don't count on it. I have one failed/cancelled high x,xxx transaction at Escrow with no support or even response from GoDaddy. Once an auction ends, the Seller is in the dark more often than not as far as progression of the sale. Seller must poke Godaddy Auctions multiple times and wait days, not minutes or hours to get any response, if there is one at all. Phone or chat Auctions support is nonexistent.

What does Godaddy do to earn their high commissions? Really nothing. Not in customer support, not even close.

Thanks for that. Its getting ridiculous now, if I had some staff or technical issue, I would have hired extra staff just to answer helpdesk tickets and deal with questions/complaints on forums like this..anything that will keep the customers happy. They just need to be kept in the loop, its really not that hard. My names will be deleted from Godaddy after I get paid for this sale.

Yes you can pm me the details. Sorry for the delay. I have only a limited amount of time each day and I get many requests on here daily. Today is only half over and I have had about 25. I try to keep up the best I can.

JoeClone.com is available! ;)

https://godaddy.com/domains/searchresults.aspx?checkAvail=1&domainToCheck=joeclone.com

Seriously though .. with a company the size of GD and all the issues/bugs/glitches all over the GD site/system .. wouldn't it be wise for GD to invest in a couple more employees at your level to help get things to a higher standard?

How much does GoDaddy make a year again?

about a month ago I started to notice extreme slowdowns on godaddy auctions. everywhere I go. site does not load up at all sometimes.. sometimes it takes a minute for me to be able to navigate.. sometimes many refresh buttons need be hit.

wasn't like this before. my config system has remained same. browser too.

anyone else seeing this??? gd auctions has always been kinda slow to navigate.. but this is just unusable as it is now, and jamming 8 times out of 10. @Joe Styler

YES !!!

Although it was like that off and on for many months! There was a period of a few weeks where everything was super quick ... and now it's back to long listing page load times for a few weeks again. When you go through a few thousand names a night it's a huge pain in the butt. On occasion it's actually so bad that sometimes I come here to NamePros to give feedback in an appraisal thread in between page loads.

I shortened my searching routine a little while back because it was just taking too long.

Even the extra few seconds delay now when you mark a domain to be watched is a pain. The delay was nowhere near what it is now! :(

wrong, godaddy gave me 48 hours to pay for an auction I won.
I was out of town, they sold it to the next highest bidder and charged me a $50 admin fee.
They never called me to ask about a credit card number or paypal address.
Although some idiot from Godaddy does call me 2x a week to tell me about domains dropping or to tell me I need privacy on all 500 names I own.

It is not browser related bug. Authorization depends if you are currently logged in or not.
If you are not logged in, authoriztion works.
It must be changed.

"Search results to return" also depends of if you are logged in or not.
If you are not logged in, the last option number you selected is remembered (smaller numbes load the page faster), but when you log in, "Results per page" is always 500 and it takes a lot of time to reload, browser freezes and reloads. There is a "Save" link below which does nothing.
There is always irresponding Jscript error popping up - https://cdnssl.clicktale.net/www/ChangeMonitor-latest.js:- it seems knowning what user clicks on screen is more important than usability.

Also, there is no option for A-record/text record authorization in DN settings, like Flippa does when WHOIS data is incomplete or under privacy.

One more bug - one could exploit as it seems fully legal. I found it when by mistake missed a letter of domain while adding it to auction - if domain is not registered, it is accepted w/o authorization and appears in your auction listings.

Also, there are sometimes bugs with exporting lists - after changing saved searches, export does not work anymore.

just to be clear, my comment had nothing to do with returning search results. those are slow or slower for obvious reasons. I was refering to jamming and freezing pages, on random places and functions. the login screen is about the only thing that works good and consistently. after that it is essentially chaos.

Wow. That's poor treatment. Though I'd never expect them to call.

Ok, I get the freezing pages thing but only on my phone. Whenever it happens I'm trying to click to the next results page. At that point I have to quit the browser.
