Recently registered a domain which I believe will be very marketable/valuable to Chinese Domainers or Businesses. In your opinion where have you had the best luck selling domains to Chinese buyers??

Thanks!

Submit the domain to Guta.com - (Chinese Brokers) If they agree to Broker the domain then you know you have a winner.

Fyi guta like most brokers want "easy" money I liquid domains like 2L,3L,4L. You know the kind you could sell yourself.

If it's a smidge hard to sell? They will tell you that you can't ever sell this to Chinese.

Seems to be STANDARD MO with sites like guta and 4.cn.

Yeah that's the case with most brokers it seems lol, thank you very much for the info though! @Avtar629 Worst they can say is no, so ill definitely take my chances! The domain I purchased should be accepted, its something that pretty much everyone in China will understand and know about. The fact that it wasn't taken boggles the mind. As for all things in domaining though.... only time will tell!

Try to list it with 4.cn.
One of the most trafficked domain auction/classified sites.
They have an English version of the site that is very usable.

Recently registered a domain

Sorry to burst your bubble, but if it is recently registered, most probably it is a mediocre name and will be not accepted at Guta.com. I will be glad if I am proven worng.

I'd rather not say yet, sorry! @urlurl

Trust me, not at all mediocre. If I have to sit on it, that's fine (y) @vinodnair

Thank you very much!! :xf.smile: @Logic97

I just don't understand why you felt the need to say this to me when I was asking for advice on where to sell. I didn't even say what I thought I could get for it. And when I said "valuable" that means profitable. Are you suggesting that there is not one domain left that could turn a profit? @dordomai

I didn't need an appraisal I was asking for advice on the best place to sell @urlurl

depends on the domain. as someone said: if it has major value guta.com or an other broker.

you can auction domains on 4.cn. They have an english version. Might not be the best place for an auction these days.

Before you proceed I would ask a chinese domainer about the domain. you might be just wasting time and money thinking you found a diamond.

people are flipping handregs for thousands sometimes($xxx often) but popular words are no longer available for flipping.

Yeah I already plan on going to the sites that were mentioned earlier (y) And thats why I don't understand your attempts to tell me that my domain is not worth anything when you have no idea what it is. Finding something worth possibly x,xxx+ or even xxx is worth it to me. There are plenty of names still out there that you can make money on. I never said I had the next million dollar domain. @dordomai

if nobody else knows the name, then how they can tell you where to sell it?

and if the name is any good, then you really don't have to list it anywhere, to get an inquiry.

just make sure the whois is accurate.

imo...

OK. from your description it really seemed to be something well-known and popular. that is why i was skeptical. Usually newcomers (like myself too one day) reg worthless junk. maybe your choices are better than mine.

Keep us in the loop on this one, if it's accepted by Guta.com OR if you manage to get a buyer at a decent price... Keen to see how this plays out..

Good luck dude! Hope it ends up being a good money maker for you.
