information Detected: Escort.com Enters Escrow; Nat Cohen Buys HUC.com...

NameSilo
In case you missed it, we broke the news of the $1.75 million sale of 20.com over the weekend. The domain was sold by entrepreneur and angel investor @Jason Calacanis with the help of broker @Joe Uddeme. A broker from Chinese domain brokerage company @190.com told me over the weekend that they represented the buyer in this transaction. Hopefully @Ron Jackson will be able to get full verification of this sale to post the domain name on DNJournal's sales chart.

Here's this week's Detected Domains.

The domain Escort.com entered Escrow.com’s holding account fairly recently.

Ali Zandi (@Ali) bought vr.club, vrmagazine.com and ai.casino.

Media Options looks to have sold Fixer.com after the name went under privacy at @Uniregistry.

James Booth (@BoothDomains) sold the three-letter domain name HPT.com and the four-letter Bore.com. He also acquired ovr.com fairly recently.

NameFind sold 92.org and 59.org recently.

A large portfolio of four-letter .COM’s looks to have sold in China after moving from the [email protected] email address last week. There were over 1,000 names on the move.

@Rick Schwartz acquired PrettyYou.com after buying it through Pheenix.com’s drop catch service.

Garry Chernoff acquired AAPL.com after the domain name expired. “AAPL” is the stock symbol for technology company Apple.

@Nat Cohen sold PECU.com and Aperitif.com. Aperitif.com is now forwarding to the Viceroy Bali website. Nat also acquired FVG.com and HUC.com.

Sam Dennis looks to have sold BBER.com.

The domain name ARAY.com cleared Sedo’s Escrow process. There’s no price publicly available for this sale, but according to NameBio the domain last sold for $6,000 in 2014.

Very interesting.... curious what else have you spotted DOJ owns?
The same company that used to own Escort is also the one that owned Escorts. It is the company that owns 1/4 of the 800 numbers, National A-1 Advertising. Apparently, they had to give the domain to the government along with a few million dollars... http://www.domaininvesting.com/escorts-com-saga-over-for-national-a1-advertising/

That should give you a little bit of reading to tell you more about these 2 domain names. And yes, they own(ed) a lot of other great names and 800 numbers be sights these 2 category killers... (including www.Pizza.com)
