Fasthosts $1 Special for .com Registrations

Just discovered that new .com registrations at FastHosts are around a dollar.

No other registrars, even the biggest ones don't request this!



I had a similar experience when I just tried to forward a domain and it would not work.

I already had an account and domains registered.

Instead of getting help I was asked for all the ID's and other docs.

I refused.

My account is now frozen and I do not have access to my domains.

My domains are effectively lost to me.

I used Paypal to fund my account and when I tried to remove the agreement from inside my FH account I was not allowed to.

I was able, however, to rescind the the PayPal agreement from inside my PayPal account, thank god.

Sadly, I didn't use PayPal - used a debit card. And I don't know if unauthorized charges will be prevented since they already have my card details.

I get it, man.

I was unsure about using a new registrar and was drawn in by the really cheap reg fees.

I can appreciate how you feel, not knowing if they will charge your card at sometime in the future, and there is not much you can do about it.

I was lucky that I was able to retract my Paypal agreement from within my Paypal account.

Good luck to you, and let this be a warning to other NP members who try this registrar.

They did not request much when I opened the account, although it was a bit of a pain to open the account.

Everything was cool until I tried to forward a domain to a lander.

It would not work.

I contacted support for help with this, and instead of helping me they asked for all the ID's and other docs.

That is when things got difficult, after I asked for help with the forwarding.

No major problems so far though, but I am waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Why wait? Why not start transferring away, at your leisure, ahead of time?

I already elaborated earlier in this thread.

I was attacked for telling about the problems I and some others have had.

I don't want to rehash my past problems with FH.

Frankly, it's history.

I just don't care any more.

I'm way over it, and I really do not wish to be attacked again.

It's just not worth it.

So, I will leave it at that.

Unfortunately yes, they did it 12 GBP for 2 years (11 GBP 1 year)

i look in home the com price 0,99 and i have think that only my account was banned from this promotion , i look now that the promotion is ended for all .
