Is there any negotiation service out there ?

A service that you could send the inquirer's details and domain name, and they would handle the negotiation effectively for you.

I was thinking about Uniregistry but a lot of complaints, either for ignoring the seller's instructions, or for directing the prospect to their own domains.

I may give Afternic a shot by using their landers, but again I've heard they will just jump to your Floor price and not try to sell for more.

Anyone can help here ?!?

Well it's not about a particular domain of mine...I have had this thought several times.

Some of us are good at finding desirable domains, other are good at buying or selling, or even developing. You get the point.

Yes ! your are right Biggie, but you can't have too many domains brokered...

What happens when you get an offer and wish you could call the buyer and try to educate them etc but you can't ?

i don't try to educate buyers, cuz it's the sellers who need the education.

I think what you are looking for is a domain broker. All the big aftermarket sites have them but keep in mind that their fee usually is between $100 and $200 minimum.

Well....that's not always the occasion !..

the more educated the seller is about their domain, the spaces around it, the value as is, and it's potential.
then that in itself, educates the buyer..... when it is worded within the reply to an inquiry or a negotiation..

so to me, it's more about what you know.

but i'm strictly speaking from an "incoming inquiry response" perspective.

if you're the solicitor, trying to educate a potential buyer, then each domain has to be evaluated independently, just to see if it's applicable for that target.

hundreds, maybe thousands of domainers want to buy one day and sell the next, soliciting like crazy.

and who's educating them, on even the basics of letter writing, grammar, punctuation, expressions, etc, etc.

So maybe this is a lucrative idea for people who are asking here on NP what is missing and what service we want

Also let me make it clear that I am talking about handling of incoming offers / inquiries , not outbound !

the better route, would be to note users who are proficient in conveying their opinions,strategies, experiences in writing, by examples of their posts, trader rating, etc and seek advice there.


and..... if that advice produces desired results, then... you go back and offer a few bucks to those who assisted you, as a show of gratitude.

Sure it has to be a reputable service, with a proven track record of negotiated sales.

But I'm not looking for what you are suggesting here , Biggie. I am not looking for pricing advice or negotiation advice. I'm looking for a 3rd party to handle the whole negotiation.

You'd send this company the inquirer's details, and they would negotiate on your behalf for a fee and would act based on your interests, without trying to sell their own domains...

Well that's to be determined, I don't know....likely based on commission.

A free facility to submit your deal for review, then a % of the final sale price would probably work. Obviously, this wouldn't work for those deals that fail the process for whatever reason.
