This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

"make offer" sales.

I believe in ngtlds, register new names daily. Last month I sold another domain local.express for usd 1500 (already reported to np)

I sold convertly . com last year for $4500 on Brandsly (although I'm pretty sure the buyer found the name by direct type in, since he thought of the name for his business), and today just saw that it got sold again for $6000 on Flippa yesterday! (Tagging @Doron Vermaat , this sale will be great for your brandable sales report!)

I also made a new friend through the sale with the buyer at the time, Sean, who was running a conversion/customer retention focused startup. He wanted to rebrand to "Convertly". A few months later I learned that instead of rebranding, he sold that business to a good friend of mine that I introduced him to in L.A., which means he no longer needed the domain he bought from me, but he kept the name and used Flippa landing to sell the name. Glad to see that he not only re-sold the domain, but also made a great profit!

This is a great proof that great names sell themselves, sometime even multiple times! Although I'm not 100% sure, I really think the new buyer also found the name by direct type in, then followed to Flippa to complete the transaction.

Hand registered BrewPost dotcom on Feb-1 and two weeks later it sells through GD Premium $549. No traffic while parked so I'm thinking GD's commission was well deserved on this one.

Congratulate on the sale. Convertly . com has been sold on brandroot also. Were you the buyer or did you sell it on brandroot?

Hmm...interesting. I didn't buy it on BR. I bought it on GD expiring auction actually! Could've been the buyer from BR bought it then let it expire. So now we know this name has been sold at least 3 times!

Domain name: Grexer.com
Sale Venue: Namerific
Sale price: $1000
Namerific comission: 30%:xf.frown:
Details: Handreged on 30/7/16 for $9 or so after it dropped.

Congrats on the sale. I'm the bozo that let this one expire, and original Namerific submitter. This domain wasn't accepted in their first round of approvals and needed a listing fee.

Name: Smiley/Booth in com
Venue: Direct inquiry
Sale Price: $500
Purchase Price: Reg Fee

Sale was to an end user. Negotiations lasted a while and couldn't get them higher. Had already done some outbound with little interest, so I pulled the trigger.
