In addition to the names I have purchased on speculation, I bought a couple websites. Both have auto-populated content linking outside but as of yet until I create it, none of the content is original. The site has probably a thousand links outside of it to nice content that aggregates many things in one place to reduce searching for them on a large platform to assist users- and I placed a manual ad on it to a friends website in the ad space and then applied to Google AdSense and was rejected within 12 hours.

Obviously I need to waste a bunch of time to read their terms and conditions, and all of my experience is really old with this. Back many years in the 90's/00's when I was active I spent alot of money on Overture and AdWords both for advertising as well as great organic rankings. (Back then they did have parked pages, and I recall I even opted out of ad syndication because I did not want have my ads on parked pages. So they did before offer it.) So the application I used was from that same account even and username. If a site is rejected WITH content- how does anybody have one parked page and use AdSense? My assumption is nobody does, and they don't work with parked pages, but hope I am wrong??

Many of the parking services offer some sort of program with their branding on the page (Like GoDaddy, etc), but I want to create something independent or use a service that allows me to redirect URL's to a common IP away from where the domains are parked, and have ad's appear on those pages hopefully all in HTML only without WordPress.

Bottom line- is anyone else using Adsense and is that possible using AdSense or not?
Of recommended other services. Appreciate your help.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Nowdays its much harder to get Adsense approval. Before 2012 you could have 1 site website and got approved automatically. Now you need 70 - 100 original articles, for some niches even more and even that does not guarantee you will get approved.

So those websites with 2-5 articles using Adsense, actually have "old" Adsense account. Hope that helps.

Thanks for immediate reply, after I posted I was reading your other thread about your success creating blogs instead with paying outside contractors $5. to write per article- congrats- that is the way to go and also the content is original. I knew about that approach before as I have a friend who has done that in the past with good success in his niche industry. However, things are changing I realize that. I will work to do that with my knowledge and articles I can write and create, it just take a lot of time and will need to farm some work out. It's going to be difficult to find writers of the obtuse subject matter and niches, but I will find them eventually.

Does that mean AdSense has now stopped allowing Parked domains?

Looks like I might need to buy a website that generates revenue at that high end price and it's adSense program that exists, one that will "grand-father" me in so to speak. ha.

If you are being creative by nature, you could write about several topics. If not, simply write about your topic of interest. If you intend to buy articles, you will still have work to improve them and make them even better. 99% of people do not know that buying traffic for your Adsense website is not against Adsense terms in fact they encourage it. You just need a quality traffic provider, which is a 24/7 job actually. But after you find it, there are no limits actually. Thats why I recently like Adsense more than parking. Different rules of the game :)

Thanks. I read that. Yes, you are correct I would never post 100% verbatim someone else wrote at all, I agree. I also would do a plagarism check to verify the work is not copied.

On a similar subject, and as for pure personal entertainment, with no revenue generation I experimented with "payola" so to speak, the dirty secret of the music industry years ago and still has some teeth. So I paid to have some artificially created hype on a music platform of some good music I personally recorded in my studio. It was all for fun, and it worked, it went undetected and the result was some organic carry through on. Hype breeds more hype. That is all the details I will say, but I could see it being successful if that is what I wanted to do (Record music) and it was profitable, but it isn't.

This is what I'm wondering. You see these large parking service sites use AdSense ads on their one page parked domains... but if I wanted to host my own parked domains (one-pagers)... AdSense would frown upon it? Why? Do these large sites like GoDaddy, Sedo, etc. have special deals with Google AdSense?

I wanted to host my own parked domains. Some will be full blown content rich sites, so no problem there... but others I see as your run of the mill parked (one page) site.

I DO have a really old AdSense account. I don't remember how it works. Do they actually have to approve each and every site separately or do they simply approve accounts?

Parking feed isn't the standard AdSense publisher product. Those companies have special access to the parking feed.

You can't put it on pages without content and you can't have more ads than content.

Pages also must follow their website quality guidelines:

Reading Terms and Conditions isn't a waste of time, it's how you get and keep your account, and in general a good business practice.

Back when I started say 2002 or 2003 I had a handful of websites. I took the most business like site and used that to apply for everything top parking accounts, ad networks etc... Even though I barely use 10-20% of the stuff anymore I still maintain the accounts or the ones still in business. So today I have around 50 websites and 400+ domains for sale. Can I put adsense ads on my landing pages=yes but I usually do more direct ad selling, pay per sale type stuff, shareasale, cj.com etc... as the days of auto generated content with adsense ads are kinda over. Really need unique content/traffic to make income just from adsense ads.

Parking companies have a feed for ads which you won't achieve unless you have massive domains/traffic so without numbers/traffic you'll be stuck with lower tier ad networks or pay per sale or sell your own ads. Adsense did used to have a feed available inside the adsense account on an individual level for domainers but that went away quite a while ago guessing because Google doesn't really seem to touch anything in terms of business that requires a lot of individual support. They would rather hand a few feeds to parking companies and deal with a handful of people than thousands of support requests from individual domainers with a handful of domains.

Thanks for the posts. Seems like I am late to the party, lol. Looks like a business opportunity for a new company out there who could come along and sell ad space to smaller players in large markets with regional and develop business for all the parked domains and sell their own syndicated ads to smaller domainers and inestors with lower traffic sites, niche vertical markets, etc. I own a car rental specific vertical name which appeals to certain countries, and bought it specifically for generating ad space type income, assuming I could use adsense. But from what you guys are saying about starting from scratch with adsense and no traffic, must not be a good choice. The search terms are generic enough for them to rise up in organic search with some time investment as well.
