I am in Seoul, Korea. I want to buy a domain through an escrow. Below is an escrow transaction procedure.

[Once funds are secured in escrow and the WHOIS information shows the Buyer as the registrant, the Inspection Period can be started. The Buyer should use the Inspection Period time to confirm that they have received any needed user name or password. The Buyer will need to reject the domain on the Escrow.com site if they do not have control before the end of the Inspection Period.]

There is a question here.
I have a one day Inspection period. Can I certainly transfer my ownership within one day? Ownership is transferred if Whois information is changed to my name?
Is this a safe company?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I bought a domain from them a couple years ago without any issues.

Your Inspection period starts after the domain has been transferred to you.

New Ventures Corp (NewVCorp) once took possession of a domain I was supposed to have won the rights to through Snapnames. When I complained to Snapnames, they told me that it was standard for NewVCorp to "hold" expiring domains for a few weeks before the domain was transferred to the rightful owner. I didn't buy it then and don't buy it now: if some third party had come along and made NewVCorp a solid offer for the domain, there is no doubt that they would have sold the stolen goods.
