I currently have the majority of my domains parked at either parking crew or godaddy cash parking, and while both have a for sale link or an interest link where someone could contact me with offers, in addition to the ads.
Would it be better to forget about ads, which are bringing in scraps anyway, and just park them with landing pages?

For example Flippa has free landing pages and I think some others do. Would this be much better for me to get more offers coming my way, where the main focus upon landing on the domain is that its for sale and to make an offer?

If so can anyone recommend their favorite free landers they use, or what company, like Flippa?

I currently have the majority of my domains on premium listings on godaddy, meaning I set the price and its buy at that price only, when they see it when searching godaddy search, (unless they are smart and can just go to the domain and find offer button)

Would it be better to just list on auction for BIN with offer/counter offer and then it still comes of in godaddy search but people could make smaller offer to get the ball rolling?

If so, without the BIN and just offer/counter or BIN with offer/counter?

Thanks for any opinions.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
If the visitor is interested in the domain the lander really doesn't matter that much. Doesn't mean you can't optimize it. I think that Bodis (escrow lander page) and Afternic (forwared for sale BIN lander with phone numbers) are the best.

Imo, imo, imo...

What's "Bodis (escrow lander page)"?

Yes, after looking at bodis with escrow or inquiry form and ads, that looks awesome. Transferred everything there. Thanks.

Now I think I will convert all godaddy premium to auction/bin with offer/counter.

My opinion / experience:

I'd not park / display ads as it's just one other distraction. Use your own lander as you will be directing traffic elsewhere if you don't. Most serious buyers, at least for higher priced names, are going to check where that domain is at (marketplace, etc.) what the terms are on that particular sys. Do a quick search on multiple search engines and see if the results are going to incite trust. This is why I'm doing my own now.

Set BIN, but also include that alternative offers will be considered. Use Escrow.com buttons which you can create in bulk.

I like that bodis updates stats about every hour, at least for visitors but I think it takes 2 days for any clicks, not sure.

The bad thing is, if you forward to either the inquiry or the escrow then I don't think you get any visitor stats from what I can tell.

I will try forwarding to the escrow page on days that I promote that domain. Hopefully get someone buying without even having to contact me.

What info do you get from an offer thru godaddy auctions?
Do you get their email address? Or is all back and forth thru the godaddy system and you will not know anything about the person inquiring?

If you get no info and you counter and they decline at any point, is there a way to go back and ask for less?

that is the core problem with those systems

for me I need to know whom I am dealing with
they don't wont you to know it
for their commission

so in the end you pay much higher commissions
as you may lose on the sale
due to not coping the needs of the other party

Did email campaign today and had the domain set up on bodis like all my domains now and had it set with the price at top and if they click it then it goes to the escrow set up automatic.

Worked awesome, Someone called, he tried to get me to hold for a day while he checked with whoever, I stressed that, I just sent out a bunch of emails and its the 1st one to pay gets it and told him that he could go to the domain address and easily click the link at the top and set up the escrow transaction.

About 15 minutes later, I get the email from escrow that he created the transaction and then he paid a couple minutes later! Anything to make it easier for them to start the process is awesome.

Anyone know when you see the revenue from zero click show up on Bodis?
I had a domain that was tier 2 advertisers and got a good amount of traffic so I just switched from inquiry form to zero click on that one.

I have got several visitors there today but see no revenue. Does it show up tomorrow? or longer?
