You need to be logged in and click the little link that says sell your names, fill out the form, they will email you back with a listing sheet. You can list reserves there.

Hello,
For a while I've been impressed with the SOLD prices on NameJet.com I tried to buy SmartShopper.com on there and an $800 "proposition" very quickly turned into an $8,000+ proposition which I had to walk away from. But the "Takeaway" is that Damn! Domains do get sold on Namejet! maybe not big bucks but nonetheless good prices of $50-$100 and then up up up. (one can only hope)

I've contacted them in the past and they told me that to be "admitted" into Namejet you need to be a "big boy" someone with thousands of domains. so back then I had to walkaway.

Of course I could always just give them a call and ask these questions from them directly but I'd like to hear from Domainers directly of their own experiences (if any) with Namejet.com as I think I am in a position (maybe) to join up with Namejet.

Is there anyone here on NP that's using Namejet to liquidate their portfolio maybe? as I see it Namejet seems to be the best and hassle free way to do it (if you are allowed in).

It would be great if one could just submit a large portfolio over to them and just sit back and relax and not stress over selling domains.

I know that Namejet is strictly for Expired or expiring or deleting domains or extra inventories of the registrars of "cherry picked" expired domains which they've kept for themselves which some poor domainer has let go because he or she can't afford the renewal.

Too bad someone with 5-10 expiring domains can't recoup their costs by listing them with Namejet.

I hope someone can give me give some good info on this before I contact Namejet myself. Is there some way I should approach Namejet so they would accept me? or is it strictly a numbers thing?

also I get the feeling that say you have the list and the numbers they are expecting that they won't actually list your entire list just the domains "they like". is there some way to convince them not to do so and accept my entire list?
I'm sure the info you provide will be useful to some people on NP.

Thanks.

lol stick around hopefully some "pro" will answer. I mean seriously Namejet is the best place to sell your close to expiring domains and recoup some losses. seems to me like Namejet is where the "sharks" know or perceive they will get THE BEST DEAL because they know that's where Godaddy Sedo and all thee other registrars dump their inventory of excess expired domains.

Yes, I need to know the answer too. Anyone who is selling on Namejet regularly can provide some good insights.

I have tried many times to submit many aged generic keyword names but every time they reject the request
Some of them are bought from Namejet but they say These are not fit for us

I tried to register at the website, I have sent them tons of documents and papers but I never got approved. I do not know if they are so picky or more careful. I also wonder if many namepros members are selling with them because we see them weekly at dnjournal !

Lol I think it's safe to say guru pro NP people will undoubtly be tight lipped about their namejet usage (for good reason. I'd do the same?) which is why I created this thread. Just to see which one will be kind enough to "spill the beans". This is after all NP where we are " supposed" to help each other and learn from each other. Right?

I did contact them and even the person I spoke to couldn't give me any tips or anything. Just that the process is as simple as inputting 15 of your best domains. And "they'll let you know" or no reply at all.

Let's be honest for a sec. "Give them your best
15 domains ?" Who really goes to namejet to sell their best when they could put them up on sedo or godaddy?

Also isn't namejet where the major registrars send over their crap or expired domains that people did not renew because they are crap domains?

Why is it they won't accept whatever domains we can send them?

The crap domains the registrar's send them I see selling for $69 at least and some even more.

So why we gotta send over our best domains? Doesn't make sense.

There has been many threats on this and it seems to be always the same result. I agree with a lot of the stuff that has been said. I tried putting some domains up and they were pretty fast with their reply saying you need to put a huge amount of domains at once for them to see it as a huge portfolio that you want to liquidate. Not sure how true that is though.

A lot of people seem to believe they only let the same sellers they have a relationship with put their domains.

The question now is what is that MAGIC number is? 1,000? 2,000? 3,000?

I mean I might be able to "get in" if that's the case. how easy would it be to just throw at them a couple thousand domains that you are not exactly sure about and just "let it right"

what's annoying is that your FIRST and ONLY option from the jump is to give them a list of 15 domains.

would it be a "Big Boy" move to just send them an excel spreedsheet of your entire portfolio? the problem with that is they will probably cherry pick your best ones which if they are THAT good you probably should put them up on the SEDO or Godaddy marketplace instead for more money?

what do you all think?

I think you are right there. I am friends with someone on another site and I see his updates all the time and one just recently he posted showed his domain was on Namejet.com and I know ALL domainers will say this but I swear at least a couple of mines are way way better. So I do suspect there are "alliances" between him and Namejet.

I mean I wouldn't mind giving them 15 of my best (but not really) so long as they will allow me to sell my questionable and probably will let go domains. I mean at a minimum $69 bid on any Namejet listing. that's a pretty nice profit.

I also suspect that they will "accomodate" a seller if he or she has bought from Namejet in the past and with high sale prices.

Can anyone confirm this?

and again , no one of those called "gurus" will dear to reply , if Namejet are approving your domain names and consider you one of those "big boys" , why would you risk losing all this by revealing their submission system !!

they will email you back
are you sure about this -_- , they never do, only for those who are considered in the "club".
It's sad that domain gurus keep telling newbies in their ebooks & courses you can earn big by listing on NameJet and here you can see my proofs , just go to NJ, and fill out the form, they will email you back

I sold some names on NJ last yr and some more the yr before.
Think I gave them a list of around 10
They were good names but not $xx,xxx standard

I simply sent them a email, said I'd list them all at no reserve an they accepted.

And I'm far from a big time domains with great contacts.

In my experience if you have solid names with liquid value and are happy to go no reserve then NJ will accept you.

The people in the club were already selling on NameJet way before they opened the door to let those not in the club. Jonathan T and Laurie Krick are very helpful.

Try pming @NameJetGM

sorry but there is no open doors in NameJet , it's more like they want to gain domainers trust allowing them to list their domain so they can bid on their auctions , even that in fact they aren't allowing them , but as soon domainers figure out that they're being played , most of them will stop using their brokerage service or bidding in their auction , then we will see how their "club" will benefit them , as most of those club members are sellers.
Thanks for you reply though

I did submit my domains three times, but never got reply whether rejected or accepted. I agree what you say, but how to get their email ID, as I am filling forms every time i submit the domains. My submitted domains ranged from 2k to 15k estibot value and I think if I get some email ID as you mentioned, i will definitely make it there.

I wouldn't read too much into the estibot value of your names, it's irrelevant. In my NJ auction I had name with $96,000 estibot sell for low $xxx.

if you have good names NJ is a great option. If NJ would have the kinda end user traffic SEDO has smartshopper would have ended at 50k, the problem is, on sedo the domain would have been lost in a huge pile of bad names, on NJ you have less names but real good ones.

You are 100% right. I said because NJ mentions estibot value in every of their auction, so if estibot gives some good value for domain, means it has some thing in it at least. Thats why I mentioned estibot here, otherwise i think same as you quoted.
