Hey nP members,

what was your fastest domain sale?
I mean the time between registering or buying a domain and the final sale of it?

Of course the 'speed of a sale' (negotiations) depends on the desired sale price - but, also apart from this fact, it's an interesting question I think - which means your answers are the real interesting part of it.

So, share your 'fastest sale' experience here!

Ukrainian keyword.
Originally this enduser is from Riga (Latvia), but is doing business in Ukraine also...
Bought it just for redirect to his .info-website.

10 years of doing this and I can only wish I had a story that came close to the ones you guys have.

I don't think I've done better than double or triple my money for a flip that took under a week or two.

My fastest in the past couple of years was from a .red hack. Got it from a prereg as soon as it was available and it was sold within a day for $500. The buyer owned the .com of the one word.

The really top 'fastest domain sales' are made by registries through binding preregistrations by customers - they are 'already sold before they even exist' ;)

My fastest was about 3 or 4 weeks.
May not sound impressive, but consider:
1. Passive sale, no effort on my part. Didn't list it anywhere.
2. Huge return - 800 x initial investment.
So if it was a passive sale, how in fact did the sale come about? Did a buyer seek you out or was there anything you did on your part to hasten the sale?

A couple of years ago hand reg'd BrandSurveillance and sold it within a couple of days for $890 as Sedo BIN. Many others but those have been outbound flips for smaller ROIs.

Fastest was ~4 hours, last year (after that it took a few days for seller to complete payment to Sedo, etc... ) - hand registered a dropping .info (not only that I used coupon code for 0.99$ reg :D ), listed it on Sedo @ BIN 499 USD and imagine my surprise when I checked my email that day :)

Fastest was under 24 hours. Bought an expired .com with a coupon code for .99 - contacted about a dozen end users in the travel industry.
One replied - sold it for $1,249 through a godaddy premium listing. God I wish I can replicate that again :)

Passive sale = NO EFFORT on my part...
You should look into whois.

Some of you have managed both a quick flip and good profit.

My quickest was like 2 months...lol ( profit was about $1800)

I just remembered that one of my first sales is also my fastest sale to date.

Got A/c/c/e/l/e/r/a/t/e/x .com from a NP member 5 days before expiry for free and sold it right here for $45 one day before expiry. That is also my biggest flip to date (infinite ROI) :xf.grin:

And my turbosale #2 for $1K month ago: .PRO also, the same day and passive also (Bodis-form), but dropcatch in this case.
Multilang. keyword.
Russian buyer.
