I have listed my first 2 domain with Namerific and it would be great to share your experience with Namerific.

My experience so far is good. I submitted 4 names and 2 accepted within 48 hours. Logo design was done with 24 hours after verification of the domain names.

Now I need to wait and see if the domain get sold.

Just share your experience with Namerific..

Logos are ok, check me sig for my listed names. No sales, list on Flippa.

If you've got the time, use the logo and reputation of the trusted sales platform to market your domains to related businesses. EndUsers are less likely to question a $X,XXX sale when they see a platform $X,XXX domains.

As commented in your request for appraisal of Woofed, I had remembered it from Namerific. I know all about the logo for Woofed. With a name like this, I'd keep my eye out for business naming contests specific to dog and dog food.

Site's like this: http://www.namingforce.com/contests/

If they like the name, they'll wonder what the .com is and so forth...

The quality logo gives you an advantage to those without. Logo's / Descriptions is essentially the packaging of a domain.

it takes 1-2 month but depends on the number of submissions obv
1-2 months? Why take so long? Volume of submissions, not enough staff, inventory control, marketing gimmick? 2 months is just too long regardless.

Is Namerific down today? It's being completely impossible for me to access their site.

I experienced the same around the same time this morning. It's back up now. I assume updates? Still down time is not good.

I recently paid for a featured listing for the domain Q/e/w/t.com. I don't know if it has something to do with tracked cookies but I rarely saw it listed in the featured listing section. I emailed them, and then saw it on the front page the next day. After that day, I have barely seen it up again. It could be bad timing on my part, or they might need to limit the amount of premium listing to allow visibility and/or change their algorithm to stop favoring certain domains.

Does anybody have any Namerific sales to report? My domains are staring to get published. They've produced some nice logo's but no sales yet. (I published some 80 domains (85 total) in the past 2 month or so) Does anybody else market their Namerific domains on Afternic or Sedo? I'm going to try afternic because I believe it updates endusers who've search the availability of your owned domains. I'm going to see if this combined with a nice logo has any effect on the buyer paying enduser pricing. Should I list it higher on afternic to entice a buyer to buy quicker from Namerific which includes the logo?

Any Namerific advice is appreciated.

As you all probably know, Namerific offers free listings and logos for 1st tier approvals approvals. They charge low scale sellers $8 and bulk sellers $5 (Email them a request if you're a large portfolio owner) for 2nd tier domain approvals. The fee includes a professional logo.

I just learned that Namerific provides FREE listing fee's for those domains that don't make the first cut if you include a logo designs that meet the standards of their marketplace. Rather than paying a listing fee, you can pay a fiverr designer. If you have a lot of domains, I recommend you offer a designer a bulk offer for a package of logo's. I'd confirm the quality with Namerific first to ensure the designer meets Namerific standards.

If you design your own logo's, all you have to do is come up with a logo, write a description, and Namerific will list your domain without any upfront costs. It would seem they care more about commissions than profiting from listing fee's.

The Brandable industry is evolving into a sellers market. I thank Namerific for making strides towards bettering the industry.

I just got an email from Namerific informing me of an offer under listing price. I emailed them back within an hour with the lowest price I'd accept. They read my response within 30 minutes of me sending it. email tracking plugin ;)

The point being, it's nice to see Namerific offers weekend sales support unlike BB.

What's the average sale through rate for NR, interested to give a go in the near future.

I too am interested in their average sale through rate. I reached out to Namerific to see if they were interested in sharing their sales with DNBolt.com. They seemed interested in being more transparent. We discussed the need for verifying the sales to prevent marketplaces from shill marketing to hype sales.

I started a Namerific push January 30th, 2016 when I returned from NamesCon. They were the only brandable marketplace there with a booth. Mike, their founder, was happy to tell me about their search campaigns and soon to come improvements. The main thing I took away from meeting them was that Namerific is nonexclusive. Meaning you can list your domains on AfterNic, Sedo, GoDaddy etc. Why? It's because I believe they are here to help the seller and not monopolize them into paying listing fee's and taking advantage of type in traffic from low quality brandables. They have a lean marketplace that has grown at a healthy rate. They offer free listings for premium domains as it should be!

I just sold my first domain with Namerific. I added it September 7th, but I didn't pay the listing fee until January 30th. I was caught up in the BB hype and didn't want to pay a listing fee since there wasn't a reseller market. I started to publish in bulk when I found out they were willing to do $5 listing fee's to their bulk sellers for the domains that don't make the premium tier of free listing fees. I now have 130 published domains with Namerific and I am about to close a second sale pending the buyer provides payment for an agreed upon discounted price.

As you can see, this sale is also a BB reject. I had a terrible acceptance rate to keyword domains with BB. I got tired of buying them only to have BB deny them while MK monopolizes the keyword domains at BB.

As some may already know, I made the decision to leave BrandBucket last month. I've since been on the search for a fair marketplace who's main concern is helping their sellers. I don't know if I'll be able to find a more fare marketplace than Namerific. Free listing fee's for premium domains, and they're nonexclusive!

I can't stress to you guys how important this nonexclusive clause is. Rather than piggy backing off your type in traffic and listing fee's, they're piggy backing the marketing of major registrars. Of course they're taking the chance of losing a sale to GoDaddy or other marketplace but they're also piggy backing behind the marketing of major marketplaces. A professional logo and description is the packaging of a domain. The seller can either buy the domain through their trusted register, or if they go to the URL directly, they can buy the domain with a logo included. It's Grilliant!

[PS] They're coming out with a bunch of new features. A bulk upload feature has already been added, and soon they'll be launching customer Namerific profiles to highlight all of your domains via link.

One problem with these marketplaces that I find is that waiting days or weeks for approval or deny status can be frustrating. Are they all approved by just 1 or 2 people?

The wait time is a little frustrating. They informed me they were hiring more people to help with the process. I've noticed they've improved the accepting / submission time, but they're still slow with logo designs. I'm very satisfied with their logo quality, and they retain that satisfaction by correcting what I'm not satisfied with.

However, since I'll be doing a bulk Namerific push to the domains they accept, I will be writing my own descriptions/relevant tags and hiring a Fiverr designer to do my Namerific logo's in exchange for discounted listing fee's and quicker publishing time. Since time is money: you help them, they help you.

maybe that's a stupid question but,
what does exactly a brandable market like NR offer you?
I assume the buyer arrived at your page by their own volition. Do you think NR played a role for the sale to happen? .. or any other reason perhaps?

I'm sorry to hear that. Mike has been heavily involved in other business ventures such as BananaAds.com and WantTraffic.com. He's working on more ways to drive traffic by getting the best bang for their marketing dollars. Have you tried listing your domains with Sedo and Afternic as well?

Anybody who has been logged into their GoDaddy account while searching the availability of your domain will be sent an email notification of your domain being listed for sale on their marketplace. They can either go to the url and be forwarded to your Namerific domain, or purchase it through GoDaddy. Just because it hasn't sold with Nameriric, doesn't mean you can't sell it elsewhere. That's the nonexclusive benefit of Namerific.

I like to think they add packaging. Instead of selling your domain on your own marketplace (I don't have my own) you are selling from a reputable marketplace. Reputable meaning they're not some poorly coded new marketplace that may or may not be legit. The legitimacy IMO adds to the premium price a marketplace like NR will fetch. Namerific also allows a lot of price flexibility so I can account for their commission fee's.

If I'm correct the commission fees are 30% plus the logo, right?
Wouldn't a market with way more exposure (sedo, GD, afternic) be better ... and with less fees?

as I said, my question can possibly be stupid but I don't seem to understand the logic in having a domain on any brandable market except BB (just because they are well known, no other reason), either that or use a 'normal' market like the ones I mentioned above.

btw. I also hit the 'wall' with the keyword brandables in BB.... just saying

Why not list your premium domain with ALL of the above Marketplaces and Namerific? Their nonexclusive clause allows this. If you don't want to pay a Namerific listing fee, than only publish your premium domains that are accepted in the tier of free listing fee's. I'd list with Namerific and BrandBucket if BB allowed, but I don't think BB would be to receptive to this.

Also, you can avoid the logo fee by providing your own logo.

If you have a minute and don't mind explaining could you go into a little detail about the listing fees and options? For example, if you bring a logo it eliminates that fee... or if your name is premo it's free to list? If not it's $10 or $5? Thanks!

I don't think you understand what I'm trying to say.
Why pay 30% fees plus logo (I don't do logos) if said marketplace offers nothing extra compared to markets that offer huge exposure and fees like 10%-20%?

I'm trying to find reasons to re-join NR but ,honestly, I find none. That's why I'm asking that question, to see if I'm missing something.
