The Digilantes Try to Find Out Who Is Behind Mugshots.com

There are a lot of people online that want to rip you off. But The Digilantes are here to help. Investigative duo Natasha Del Toro and Dan Lieberman go on a hunt for cyber scammers. Our first case looks into the mugshot industry, websites that post mugshots and then charge hundreds, even thousands of dollars to take them down, whether you are guilty or not. The biggest of them all is mugshots.com. Some call it extortion, but no one can find who is behind the site. So we decided to find them ourselves.

From this quote on Shane's site, it looks like it is/was AD. By the way, I haven't seen the video yet, so this may have already been mentioned, sorry.

I wondered about what had happened to Adam Dicker. I am not surprised at what I have read here about Adam Dicker.

I to was taken in by Mr. Dicker, sold on working for him for a short time contacting people whose mug shots appeared on Google.

I was charged with selling the people appearing on MugShots.com the opportunity of having there mug shots removed from Google.

Very shortly into the exercise it was exceedingly apparent that Adam Dicker was conning me, so I quit doing his bidding.

Each and every encounter with Adam Dicker concluded with disappointment.

That is the question. He used to own the name, so if he no longer owns the name he's not responsible for what the current owners are doing with it.
But he seems to be embarrassed to talk on record. The question is, who is behind mugshots.com now.

What we can tell is that there have been, and there may still be domaining-related connections.

I am getting more and more sick of these so called people who are praised in the industry, who behind the scenes are scumbags. I been around since 1998, so I seen so much of it. Lot's of good people in this industry, but be careful of these so called experts, do your research before you do business with them.

I watched the video. No mention of Dicker. Also not much information mostly just documentation of how little they could find and how deeply buried this company is (payments go to a drop box in the West Indies).

A good NDA would prevent somebody from talking about something, no matter how much they want to.
