From what I understand, Adam still owes north of $33,000 to previous customers and business partners. As I receive more information, I will update this figure.

It's not illegal or criminal to ask outrageous prices for domains, unless those domains are squatting someone's brand.

Domain owners have the right to ask whatever they wish, just like if they own physical property, they can ask whatever they want (keeping in mind that askin' and gettin' are two different things).

If you feel that way about selling domains, then, perhaps, you're in the wrong biz and on the wrong forum.

I think there are some countries where Capitalism does not exist, and where goods are strictly regulated by some Central government where people have no control over.

Excellent question. Makes one wonder about the people handing out the award. You see, evidence is mounting that it is pure folly to believe that any of this thread is truly news to those who run the shows, print the journals, hire and fire at the registrars, spew "sales" results at us, and maintain that Snapnames is reputable.

Thank you that is very kind. I have had a few offers like this after posting and I am very appreciative. I had to liquidate the majority of my portfolio due to the financial bind I was in, and admittedly all of this has left me a bit jaded about domaining. I would like to eventually get back into investing and flipping once I am in a better position to do so.

O.K. so Adam has been found guilty, but my reason to post in this thread was to point out the negative attitude, insult, abuse, big ego, and allegations (without any proof in the original blog post) and that whether it reflects any ethics from the author? I know it's not ethical for Adam to not delivery or refund, but we still haven't heard back from his side' right?

My intentions from the beginning was that this case could have been handled in a more professional manner, or at least Shane would have prevented from using such insulting tone in his post. But a guy with this attitude (as seen in different threads here; other than Flippa's), I think this was not possible for him.

If this tone is right for you, then I'm done here. But in business, even companies with court cases don't use abusive or insulting languages They fight with proofs and by the rules..But I guess that's way too different for most of us here as we are mostly individuals with no basic business know-how and ethical standards. Fine by me dude, fine by me.

I understand the bind can be difficult, but all in all, it's a lesson for yourself, experience is the best teacher, so next time you know what to and what not to do.. never work without a written and signed contract (esignature works too), never believe or fall for marketers hype and promises of riches, these 2 points really hit home after you have experienced first hand the damage caused and time and money lost.

No association as such, just that I have learned a lot from him about domain investing. And not every successful domain investor shares and teaches new comers the way Adam does, he shares his practical knowledge and experience about domaining, (other than all the issues mentioned on this thread about his poor business.)

I think I dropped a tear when reading Lanny story and it takes some kind of guts to fuck people over in such a way. The sad part is there are other stories like Lanny's out there.

There isn't too much this guy can say and that is why he is quiet. He hasn't done anything to defend his reputation.

Part #2 will end his career. I'll be back here Friday.

BTW, I, too, was a victim. I had the exact same experience with everyone else who shared and was given the run around and ignored for long periods of time.

Just because a person is not participating in the hype here doesn't mean he's hiding or something. May be he's staying away for a reason. What if Adam has already started to resolve things on his own while we continue arguing and guessing things here? I see it is already happening and Adam has started to pay his dues.

Not sure why Adam should be in this gossipful thread, as I am sure he has other more important things to do, mostly because he's in hot water. But being an Internet marketer himself, I do hope he would post something from his side as well, the way Shane has done.

It may be now. It may be never. He may be advised to not make any comments while the case is ongoing. We don't know. And I don't see Adam hiding; He did appear a few times, just that he did not satisfy the expectations of many here with his replies.

In the end, what do want out of this?

To help the victims?
To shame/destroy the accused?

We can see there are differing intents from various members here.

For me, I hope to see justice and fairness the victims are owned. It seems like this sensationalism is a last resort to pressure Adam to make good his promises. Again, there are differing opinions how this could have been done or achieved.

I think we all can at least agree that this is a sad week for domaining.

Your post was nothing more than a waste of bandwidth. You stated no fact, sorted words to circumvent the truth that your hero is a criminal that is only covering his rear now that someone blew the whistle.

I will openly say the way Shane went about it was immature and spiteful manner and that he could have handled this in a way that could have contributed to himself and the community.
