Recently, we saw an outburst in the value of LLLL.com domain names.
The domains which used to sell for low $$ to high $$ are now going for low $$$$.

Every single day, we find some sales of LLLL.com and they have appreciated in value like anything!

Are we looking at LLLLL.com rush in the near future after the success of four letter .com domain??

Indeed LLLLL will have future
But not in next 7 to 10 years. Did you ever notice most LLLL domains registered in 2007 & 2008 and after 6 to 7 years there value increased in aftermarket. But compare to 4 letter domains they will never get the same market like 4 letters.

Clear example : no 4 letter can get the same value compare to 3 letter. The same satuation apply to 5L. The more L in the domain. The more less value.

2nd : there will be possibilities for 5 L domains. Which is premium and branded and clear word domains. Not like 4 letter domains. In 4 letter domain we have notice significant sale of random letters which is not premium but they could make acronym.

So over all only the best and word base 5 L domains will have market in future. There are very rare chances for random letters.

Personally I doubt it; lllls and llllls are two completely different stories.

We all think the same. When first registered 4L Domains. But as i said. There are very rare Chances for Random 5L's like 4L's.

Random 5L don't have a present and certainly won't have a future; 5L are bought not as acronyms but for branding purposes and the very good ones are long gone.

What is happening now to 4L has nothing to do with age or anything like that.

4L's could survive with lousy pronounceability, but 5L's need to be pronouncable to survive. i think even 4L's are to long to work as acronyms,

Look at the sales; the majority of LLLLs sold on the market are indeed acronyms.

Well, right now 100% of LLLL.com are being sold.
There's a logical catch in your sentence, LLLL selling not because they are acronyms, they have value on their own at the moment. And independently majority, that I define as more than 50%, of LLLL's are acronyms, but they were acronyms all the time.

Random LLLLL's will never hold any premium value, simply because there's too many of them available to be considered in-demand. There are less than half a million LLLL's, but over 11 million LLLLL's.

FYI LLLLs have never dropped therefore they have always sold; all of them.
The reasons why there is so much demand of lllls now are others that, if you are in the llll market, you should know yourself.

Yes, I do know about the pressure Chinese customers create on LLLL market, but personally, I believe it's just part of the story. If you go deeper and think about what will happen, after they snatch all LLLL's with their precious letters? 1/3 of the market will be gone. That leaves just around 300 000 LLLL available and rarity always drives price up. There's more people in the world from the other countries where they have vowels and these people will start the companies and will want to have short recognizable name. LLLL's value is based not on acronyms, but on 2 factors: short + rare. Acronyms add value and always did so, Chinese rush adding value right now, that's my analysis. But this 2 factors are supporting, while short and rare are fundamental.

I also disagree with opinion that LLLL's never dropped and all of them have always sold. You can find people here, who've been on the market longer than me, may be 5-10 years ago, they will know better, but I bet you it was time when people were dropping LLLL and you could get one for free. Long time ago..

FYI I used to catch LLLL.coms after they dropped and were available to hand register in 2007 and again in late 2008/2009 after the bubble burst. So did many others.

oooooooooooooooooooooooooook, as it seems we need to be overspecific here and split a hair in 2 then let's say that after the last names were registered it in 2006-2007 and some others were catchable in late 2008-2009 NO LLLLs have ever been available for registration-aka they don't drop-aka they ALL have been sold/bought/traded.
Now, if we want to build an argument on everything I say that's fine by me but I won't participate in the game.

Is this also a bubble right now with LLLL.com with the sudden increase in demand and price? Anyone?

Doesn't seems like Bubble. In the Last few years investors think new Domain Extension can ruin the .com market but as we all know it didn't happened. So over all .com market has been increased its just not LLLL Domains. However Due to availability and less amount of total 4 Letter Domains which is almost 46 Thousand something. We are seeing significant change in the market.

I've got dozens of LLLL.com names. I think its time I sell them. Any suggestions of the best place to list these?
