.tv Reduction in estibot valuations

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
I had a couple of .TVs last October that were valued by estibot at $23k and $21k and are now valued at $12k and $8k.

Has anyone else noticed a reduction in estibot valuations.

You are right, Laptop.tv was a bit over $90k, it is now 'just' only $51k...
I don't take Estibot serious either ways.

I don't bother with Estibot appraisals or any other online appraisals. They are always way off.

I noticed that too.......I suspect that the lower sales prices in dot com's has affected the metrics having a knock-on effect on other tld's and cctld's.

I have noticed estibot is way too high most of the time (sometimes wildy too high). Probably because of enduser data in it and perhaps old data also from the boom period. Having said that the .com's that I tried were roughly the same as a month ago so maybe it is only .tv that they have lowered their score on.

Boys and girls, tune in again to the next post for the adventures of Sherlock Snoops, master debater of the 20th century, as he relentlessly attempts to eliminate his arch-foe and nemesis, MoriarTV!

Read as time and again his disparaging and back-handed remarks become less stinging and are met with the technologies and demands of the 21st century. As Sherlock's remarks become more and more dated, they start to become almost comical in its antiquidated interpretations.

Carry on the battle, O brave crusader Snoop, against the unfaithful hordes of the present and future. And always remember, the past belongs to you!

I have noticed that as well.
but not just my .tv's...
I have had some great .com's and .net's with a lower value recently too.
I wonder if it is just a reflection of economy as a whole???
What I have done is used the Estibot Bulk Sales tool for sales
promotions.
Usually, they have a higher appraisal then doing them individually!

My original post mentioned that this was compared to October last year so I assume that this value reduction is across the board, regardless of the extension. With every boom, must come a fall.

I suppose it was only likely considering the state of the World economy. I heard today that Latvia governments bonds have a 'junk' rating - and have been trying to work out whether this is good or bad for my ownership of Latvia dott TV (which incidentally, has an estibot valuation of just $460).

Estibot has not been able to post backlinks, due to an issue w/yahoo. So..that said, if you click on backlinks, you will see all that is there, otherwise Estibot cannot post...I've contacted him, legal issues, he is trying to resolve, so that may be a factor in your valuations?

Yes I see, wouldn't suprise me if it was accross the board then if it was 4-5 months ago. I haven't looked at any stats from back then but it you search the forum for "estibot" and go back that far you'll find some estibot values from that time. Still estibot must be slow to reflect the bust as most the biggest falls in the domain market occured well before October in my view, the market has been falling since the end of '07.
